“Will always stay here if room available!”
The Carraige House is a clean comfortable Hotel conviently located near restaurants and good shopping on McLeod Trail South in Calgary. The staff are friendly and the restaurants are good. In addition the hotel is pet friendly and our dog was treated like a fine guest receiving a welcome cookie and VIP (very important pet) door note.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a nice, clean and pleasant place to spend one, or many nights. Check-in was a breeze, they even upgraded us from two double beds to two queens without our even asking! Room was spacious & clean, beds were comfortable and obviously quite new, bathroom was small but served our needs and looked great. I must say I was very impressed with our 3 night stay and other than their website stating they had flatscreen tv's when it was a standard 27"(trivial), I can't think of anything negative to say at all. Booking through Expedia only two days in advance proved to be an extremely positive experience with absolutely no glitches. Stay here if you can, very competetive rates, really nice, clean rooms and if you don't need an indoor waterslide, it will impress you. Truly a genuine value for a great stay.
“Very clean, comfortable”
I had a one night stay with this hotel. The staff were very courteous and friendly. The room was incredibly clean - I had to pull the bedside table out to plug in my blowdryer, and even behind that it was spotless. The bathroom was as well.. I get very wary of hotels with white tiles in the shower because there's usually a mold/mildew buildup, but everything was bright white. The showerhead could have been better. The bed was VERY comfortable, and the sheets/bedding were not only clean they were soft and smelled very good. (I find usually hotel bedding is stiff) Will definately stay again the next time I'm in Calgary, and will make a point of having breakfast - it smelled delicious!

Check in was quick and efficient. Front desk staff very helpful. Room very comfortable, with a larger desk so I could get some work done.
“Incredibly Impressed”
The hotel room was nicely decorated. I may steal a few ideas for my own house. The staff were helpful to the best of their ability. Hotel is close to Chinook Mall, the highway and downtown. There are plenty of restaurants close by to choose from and there are some in the hotel as well. I will definitely stay here the next time I am visiting Calgary.
