Overnight stay
Good location on the plaza mayor. Room was a little tired and bathroom was too tight for comfort. Okay for an overnight stay on a budget but we checked into another hotel next day for more space and comfort

Very pleasant stay right in the central square
We spent one night while passing by Caceres. Right on Plaza Mayor with nice personnel, comfortable beds and spacious room. Good value for money.

Wonderful stay
We absolutely loved this hotel. We found it at the last minute and were so delighted with everything. The parking was easy and the hotel was so centrally located. The staff were so welcoming and so helpful. The room was comfortable and clean and the breakfast was very good

hotel right on the old city plaza
hotel was spacious and clean.. location on the old plaza with our view looking towards the old city was great.. bathroom large and surprisingly modern and updated..loved the marble and granite stairway.. nice breakfast area but closed early and seemed too expensive considering multiple restaurants just outside the front door.. BIG downside was getting there in a car.. gps and visual shows a pedestrian walkway with flower pots and outside dining seating.. gps took us up sidewalks .. even after finally finding the hotel the parking garage was a nightmare to find and getting back to the hotel difficult,, a small sign at end of road before the plaza would have made a big difference.. once there though we enjoyed the location ..

Dodgy start but good in the end.
Had a bad start as the room had a very unpleasant smell when we arrived. We wanted to change rooms but they had none left. We went out for dinner feeling concerned - but when we returned 2 hours later the room/bathroom had been sprayed, windows opened - and the smell didn’t return. So all was good in the end, and great service from the front desk.

Great hotel right on the Plaza Mayor. Lovely big bedroom overlooking the square. Staff very friendly. Nice breakfast buffet. Parked in the secure underground car park just 5 minutes walk away.

Hard to get to hotel
Hotel almost impossible to get to in a car. Right on Plaza Mayor. Good for sightseeing but bad for noise in room. Hotel itself was good but location makes it extremely noisy in room. Till midnight all restaurants open and after that street cleaning starts. Wuiet time 3-6 AM only.

Every thing was great. Just make sure you point your GPS to the parking garage, not the hotel. Once you've parked, use a map or your phone to guide you through a few narrow streets to the plaza where the hotel is located.

Caceres Hotel
Hotel is in a fantastic location, write on the main square, across from the gate into the old city. Modern hotel with nice room. One weird thing is the door to the bathroom is frosted glass, which is probably fine for a couple but which my son found a bit disconcerting since it didn't completely block vision. Staff helpful. But our air conditioning did not work, and so a night in Spain at the end of July was very uncomfortable. Nice breakfast with good choice of options. Hotel didn't have car parking, but had a deal with a nearby garage for discounted parking. Worked well, especially as I emailed the hotel to get the map to the garage in advance.

Wonderful Hotel on Plaza Major
Very happy with our stay. Excellent location, short walk to El Figon (one of the highly rated restaurants in Caseres). Nicely renovated rooms (strong shower, comfortable beds). Website could be clearer about accessing location by car to facilitate dropping off luggage, given that parking is several blocks away.

Best Value Hotel of Our Trip
Traveling with a group of friends through Portugal and Spain. Hotel Casa Don Fernando was the best value of any hotel on our trip. Unbeatable location (though the hotel or hotels.com could post better info about how to access by car for dropping off luggage).

Great stay in Caceres.
A great Hotel with a great staff. Extremely clean. No noisy. Located on the main square in Caceres close to main touristic sites. Breakfast was ok however it could be better if I consider the level and quality of this hotel. Prize/quality amazing. I will come back to this hotel for sure.
