“Clean, comfortable, with good wifi”

This is a nice, little hotel. The rooms are clean, the price is reasonable, and (most importantly, for me) the wireless internet is very fast and very stable. There was a chair in my room where I could work, lots of channels on the TV, and the pool looked very nice. The only drawbacks were a stale cigarette smell in the lobby, and the continental breakfast looked a little thin. (In general, there aren't many places to eat in Mount Pleasant. Four fast-food places, and a pizza parlor.) I would absolutely stay here again.

“Pleasant in Mt. Pleasant”

Clean and quite. Pleasant staff. Close to the Sirloin Stockade.

“Great price and clean comfortable rooms”

This is an older hotel but it's still in good shape where it counts. The outside looked a little weathered where it wasn't brick. Nothing fancy but a comfortable stay in clean rooms. They had a fridge, microwave, tv, wifi and coffee maker in the room. The beds were the soft foam kind and I thought they were really comfortable. The breakfast was good with juice, milk, coffee, biscuits and gravy, toaster waffles, muffins, doughnuts, cereal, and oatmeal. We didn't get to enjoy the pool but the kids that we saw in there seemed to be happy. The staff seemed friendly. I'd stay there again and recommend it to someone staying in Mt. Pleasant.

“Good place to stay”

It was a very quiet place to stay. There's a WalMart close by so could pick up some necessities.

“Clean and comfortable”

The motel room was clean and comfortable, actually more than you would ordinarily even ask for on a one night stop over. Will stay there again when in Mt. Pleasant. Can't go wrong.

“Near restaurants, large room”

Large room with one King bed, huge sitting area and desk, sink is outside the bathroom. Comfy bed and pillow. Comes with fridge and microwave and older tv. Breakfast-- don't bother--it is all frozen stuff--frozen biscuits with crockpot gravy, frozen waffles to toast, frozen thawed donuts--you get the idea. There are many decent restaurants nearby and wander the miles into Mt Pleasant proper and you will find an adorable and cute real small town!! Nice public square, cute restaurants, very lovely!! Standard American chains near hotel.

“Very nice pool and hot tub facilities”

With the exception of one person, staff was not friendly and did not greet. Exercise facilities are located between two suites and have very limited time availability so as not to disturb the guests in those rooms. Rooms had cobwebs on ceiling and corners, edges and corners of rooms were not vacuumed. Railing upstairs was crusted with debris, stairs were not clean. Best part of the hotel was the pool and hot tub - clean, well kept, nice temperature.

“Good value for a quick stay”

The hotel is older but reasonably well-maintained, clean and near to the highway. There were lots of work trucks in the parking lot but the halls were quiet (although we heard several train whistles in the distance) and seemed safe. Our family was on the first leg of a road trip and needed a comfortable, convenient place to sleep the first night. The Roadway served our purpose at a reasonable price. We did not use the pool which looked nice nor did we sample the breakfast because we left very early.
