“One of the best”
Beautifully decorated hotel on the 3rd floor of an apartment building. Entrance is through a security door with intercom to the street.. Make sure you have the full correct address when arriving by taxi as it is not immediately obvious. Once inside, there is a lift to the third floor. The staff are excellent and do all they can to help, they all had good english which was very useful as my spanish is very poor. They gave advice on where to go and where to eat on our arrival and gave us tips on the pronounciation of words in Argentina. We arrived without the correct electrical adaptors for our cameras and they lent us two for our stay. We had an early morning flight and they provided breakfast for us at 5am. The waitress at breakfast soon learnt our preferences for drinks at breakfast. Washing was sent out to a local laundry. Even the owner helped us downstairs with our bags on our final day. Breakfast consisted of a good self service buffet. The rooms are high ceilinged and nicely decorated and furnished. Those at the front have a nice view of the street, but can be noisy. Those at the back are quiet but have no view. There is an hour long tango lesson three times a week suitable for complete beginners, or they will help you improve if you can already dance a bit. If we return to Buenos Aires, Rooney's will be top of our list!
“Very impressed”
1. Breakfast includes eggs at your order, not too much variety but every dish is delicious. 2. Free tango class with a good teacher. 3. Everyone is very very kind. Great room service, really great. I don't how to explain my gratitude. 4. Lot of restaurants nearby. You can find everything within two blocks. 5. The only weak point is the Internet speed.
“Buenos Aires' Best Boutique Hotel”
Rooney's is amazing. We stayed here for 4 nights and were sad to leave... This hotel is great if you love stylish hotels and are willing to stay in a real, not touristy, neighborhood. It is centrally located, tastefully designed, and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. We will definitely stay here again the next time we come to BA.
“Charming clean hotel with antique feel in the Central district. A+ location for siteseeing.”
Like being nestled in a beautiful European salon. You may feel like your in Paris rather than BA. Central district location perfect for all siteseeing. Safe neighboorhood (a bit busy) some quality resturants just around the corner. Rooms were clean and well kept- all was in working order. Staff was helpful and sweet. Breakie was simple but delicious. High ceilings orginal molding small balconies and antique furniture and lighting fixtures make it romantic and unique.
“Delightful Boutique Hotel”
We had a Delightful stay at Rooney's. Do not be put off by the entrance to this hotel. It is on the 3rd floor of a historic building and i must congratulate Rooney's on the fantastic restoration. The hotel has been restored to its former glory and includes many original pieces such as the chandelieers & antique furniture with a touch of freshness added by the vibrant colors used. this in itself gives the hotel a unique personality that i have not seen elsewhere. Added to that the creature comforts such as extremely comfy bed, wifi, delicious fresh breakfast and the great personalised attention provided by the english speaking staff makes this hotel stand out as a true boutique hotel.

A nice hotel to stay for a few days. Very helpfull staff & a nice breakfast in the morning. Like the whole antique feel of the place , has a awesome old style elevator.
“Rooney's was Incredible”
We had the best stay at Rooney's. In fact, Rooney's made our stay in Buenos Aires remarkable. The staff is incredibly helpful. Nico and Gabriella made us feel right at home and helped us above and beyond the call of duty.
“Loved Rooney's Boutique Hotel”
Loved Rooneys, full of character, charm and first class service , a truly Boutique Hotel in every detail, high ceilings with chandeleers, period antique furniture and delicious home made continential breakfast. Our superior room which overlooked Avenida Callao, was exquisitely decorated with Luis 15th furniture had a balcony and was surprisingly quiet thanks to the double-glazing. Also the common areas such as the lounge bar and tang patio I found to be delightful to have a glass of wine and watch the world go by. All this plus the free tango classes, which were very sociable and is a perfect way to meet other guests, made for a truly enjoyable stay. The English speaking staff were excellent and attended to all our quieries about the city and gave us excellent recommendations on tours and restaurants. I highly recommend Rooneys for those that are looking for a hotel with charm and personality.
“An oasis”
This little hotel is perfect. Charming decor - every thing spotlessly clean and tidy. A quiet oasis amid the hustle and bustle of the city although just a stone's throw away from all the main attractions.
