"I booked this location last minute as I was travelling for work. I arrived late and past the office closing time, but they text me very clear simply instructions to access my key for my room I was really pleasantly surprised When I arrived. It's definitely an old school home and the rooms whilst they are clearly aged are immaculately kept. bathroom is impeccable and new but the beyond anything the rooms were super comfortable and has a real country home feel. I woke up and it was below zero outside but you wouldn't have known inside the room. It was so warm inside without heating running which was my choice. Location is very good. Great coffee shop right on the premises Perfect location and will definitely be back. "

"PROS: Wilpine is set in a great location, good access to the town centre and surrounding vineyards. We spent three nights over a long weekend for a family wedding, and stayed at Wilpine with three family groups. The property is spacious and great for accommodating a large group. It is a well equipped property that has everything you would need for a short stay. CONS: However, the property and surrounding gardens and yard are in need of some maintenance and a facelift. Our honest opinion of arriving was one of shock, we did not feel that the photos and description we had seen online when making our booking matched the current reality of the property. The property is comfortable however definitely not in the 'luxury' category (however, we definitely paid a luxury price tag for our stay). The property was clean, however there was a large dead mouse on the floor outside one of the bedrooms. We were able to enjoy our weekend and have been liasing with the property manager and owner regarding our feedback. As referenced above, a very comfortable property to spend time with a large group, however we would place this property at around 3 stars rather than in the luxury category."

"We really loved the room we booked. The bed was super comfy and the complementary snacks were just what we needed after a day of travelling. The location is ideal walking distance to cafes, restaurants and shops. We'll definitely stay again."
