“Excellent hotel on a budget”
Excellent! Its inexpensive, but don't let that fool you into thinking its not a good hotel, its really good. Good clean room, amazing shower with a frosted glass wall looking into the room, nice flat screen TV, air cond. Good breakfast, friendly service. Its a few minute walk to bus or metro. I think its just inexpensive because of the neighborhood, but I never felt nervous or anything.. its fine, just further out from downtown is all.. Highly recommended. I watched Burrows score the OT goal for the Finals game here, so it has good Canucks vibes too! Go Canucks Go!
“Great Value”
Not a spectacular hotel, but a great value. Hotel is very clean and has a very contemporary decor. Wifi did work in the rooms, but worked in the lobby. Breakfast was good. Scrambled eggs, bacon, fruit, breads, juices, etc. Located near public transport (bus, subway, and train). Staff was helpful. Note: the bathroom is not very private: glass wall in the shower is open to the sleeping area...consider this if sharing a room with someone.
“Fantastic.”
This place was the best hotel we stayed in during our entire Europe holiday. If I had to find a fault with anything (and it isn't even a fault with the hotel itself) would be the area. Being almost right next door to the main train station, it isn't the prettiest neighbourhood in Budapest, but still, neither my wife nor I ever felt that we were in danger or anything. Everything about the hotel is really good. The breakfast, the elevators, the room, it was all perfect. We both found it funny that there is a window between the bathroom and the bedroom. There are blinds so that one of us can use the washroom in private, but still, it's kind of funny. Very close to the metro, and having the train station right nearby also makes it really easy if you're arriving and/or departing by train. Very modern and very tastefully designed. I'd recommend this hotel and this city to anyone and everyone. You won't be disappointed.
“Helpful staff”
Helpful staff, excellent position for Keleti train station. Bit of a trek into town.
“Great hotel, great locations”
new hotel, nice rooms , clean and modern decoration. great location, near the main train station and underground train. Breakfast was also excellent. Great for sightseeing in the city area, would recommend this hotel to others !
“First visit to Budapest”
The hotel is located in a perfect location, next to the main train station and a metro. The buffet breakfast was excellent, the bed was comfortable and we loved the shower. I wouldn't recommend visiting Budapest during X-mas.
“Modern and new”
A very modern hotel, rooms are very clean and new. Great location from the keleti train station. Staff are very helpful and friendly, can get tourist passes for attractions at hotel. Wifi is lobby only. Centre of town is a good half hour walk away.
“Great place to stay”
Hotel staff were really helpful, lovely breakfast, great location, no complaints!
“Convenient Budapest hotel”
This botique hotel is near subway station, supermarket at corner, fast food loactions all over that makes it a very convenient location. Only 3 subway stops to downtown. Hotel staff were avery friendly and helpful. Breakfast not too ad either, but if you want something different, there are others just around the corner. Very good value for your money! Hotel staff double up as concierge and can arrange for most activities.
“Not a 4* but.....”
Brand new hotel, just on the outskirts of the city, near the main line station and Metro. The hotel looks great from the outside, but its in an area thats a bit run down. as you enter the small reception area you are met with helpful staff who speak good english, there is a small bar in the reception but this was not open (3.30ish) the rooms are contempary in style with a good shower, the rooms were spotless, and a comfortable bed, the rooms were also quiet ensuring a good nights sleep. you wont be disappointed with the breakfast, all the usual cereals juices cold meats, you can also get scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, very nice.. To get into the city is a good 30min walk, a taxi will cost £5-6 pounds (exchange rate 350huf to the pound) but use the metro, a 5 min walk, into the city in less then 10mins its easy to use, clean and safe. if you decide on a taxi, Fix your price with the driver before you travel.. What lets this hotel down is, its states that it has a restaurant? over 4 nights it was open once (by arrangment) no coffee/tea making factillies in the room, Susie runs the bar, well worth talking to her, she will tell you all you need to know, she even stayed open later than usual so people coming back late could have a night cap. I would stay here again, but only if the services they advertise are included. TIP: you get a better exchange rate over their. NIGHT OUT: for a 3 course meal and entertanment find a place called "pub for sale" LUNCH: Rustic
