“Awesome stay”
Very modern and convenient. Within walking distance to waterfront and shopping. Staff was excellent! Great breakfast included. Was a little difficult to find--but only due to my not knowing anything about the city. Metro was only a couple of blocks away as well as great food. Highly recommended!
“Very nice hotel in Center of Budapest.”
Only one issue is parking place and this locality of town is not suitable for night walking.
“Great value for the price”
This hotel is comfortable and clean. The rooms are tiny but have free internet access which is wonderful! The breakfast does not have a lot of vegetarian options.
“Nice hotel”
Nice modern smaller hotel, close to transit. Good blackout curtins and soundproofing from the street(not so much from the crying baby in the next room) Bathrooms good, breakfast average, wireless internet works but signal not strong everywhere. Helpful staff.
“Nice Hotel - (Do not go in the summer months)”
Reading the reviews on tripadvisor about this hotel, i thought i'd take a punt on the Atrium. The reviews were very much a mixed bunch. The location is fantastic, in the heart of Budapest, and yet secluded enough as to get a good nights sleep. I was baffled by comments about outside traffic noise, this was completely untrue. The reception staff were in the main, very helpful, recommending a lovely restaurant to myself and my partner. Breakfast was good, from croissants to cereals, as well as a platter of cold meats and cheeses. There is a but however. The rooms were stifling. The lack of an outdoor window was undesirable however the real gripe was more to do with the stuffiness of the room. Whilst the decor / amenities / en suite were of a high standard, the "air conditioning" was almost non existent, an 'old school' dial that reminded me of decades ago. For early october, it was just comfortable enough, however I would not recommend this in the summer months. Overall I would recommend this hotel, however as the name of the review suggests, don't go here if your predicting warm weather.
“Pleasantly surprised”
We visited this hotel from June 14 through June 16, and I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel. Check-in and check-out went extremely well. The receptionist was excellent. (I wish I could remember her name)! Breakfast was included and was excellent, with numerous choices. Our room was clean and we had no problems at all. There was alot of traffic around the area, but it did not deter our sleep. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. We enjoyed our stay.
“Good value for the rate I paid”
Lovely small brand new hotel, although not in the best area in Budapest, it's still within walking distance from the center, glossary store 2mins away, McDonald's 1min. The design, the rooms, bathroom were great, coffee / tea maker in room, also safe box and a little fridge, splendid breakfast provided, nobody is bugging you every other minute, the staff is very kind however and overall very cosy. Definitely good value for your money.
“Great hotel”
For the money spent, we are very impressed with the hotel and its vicinity to the city and local metro links.
“Great location”
Average hotel at a great location with a few minor issues. Right in the middle of the citi, one block away from traffic, walk anywhere in a city that's very walkable in any case. Had problems with WiFi; at first just didn't work, had to ask the front desk to reboot the router. It was very unstable for the first two days, no problem later. My other pet peeve: no fresh rolls at breakfast. In a city where you can get fresh bread-stuff at every street corner, it is a shame...
“OK hotel with good service”
The hotel staff were eager to please and the public areas of the hotel are very pleasant--a light, airy atrium. My one criticism of the hotel is that most rooms have no windows other than the one onto the atrium (actually onto the balcony/corridor from which you access the rooms), so the feeling is a bit claustrophobic. the rooms aren't large inside but they are very comfortable and nicely decorated. The hotel is one block in each direction off two of Budapest's main streets, so you have easy access to the metro and 4/6 tram and that can get you pretty much anywhere in the city. But the actual streets are rather dismal. Breakfast was adequate. My biggest problem was that I was coming off a stay at the Budapest Hilton which is definitely a notch up but I will say that the Atrium was a very good value.
