“A little slice of clean country.”

I was very pleased with this hotel. Clean and fresh, and the counterperson was very sensitive to my needs. It was worth the extra $10 over the slightly cheaper hotels.

“Great for a one night stopover while on the road”

This is a fine hotel for a stop over on a travel. Clean, reasonably priced. Fine for one night on the road. Right off the highway, several fast food places & a Shoney's close by. Breakfast was the basic bagel/cream cheese, make your own waffle, & a few pastries you get with these hotels. But the breakfast area was clean. Nice staff that greeted us when we came in and out oft he hotel. Easy to find.

“Comfortable and convenient”

For the price, the hotel served it 's purpose. Staff friendly. Continential breakfast OK for us....... we don't eat much for breakfast. Rooms clean and no noise heard from other guest. Upgrading to hotel was going to be started the day we left.. so improvements are coming. Location very convenient to Highway and plenty of eating places close by.

“Disappointing”

We arrived around 8 pm after a day of driving and were given a room on the first floor. The hallway smelled of cigarette smoke and when we opened the door to our room it reeked of cigarettes. We were very tired and my daughter suggested turning on the A/C but I said no, we are not staying in this room. Went back to the front desk and said, I'm sorry, but can we please have a non-smoking room that didn't reek of cigarette smoke? She was very nice about changing our room, and the second room was just fine. It was pretty noisy--walls and ceiling very thin I guess. Got up for breakfast and was very disappointed. Typical continental stuff, but they also had sausage gravy. It looked good, but was not the least bit warm. Thought I would warm it up in a microwave, but there was none. The coffee was awful and all the cereals were off brand. Just bleh. Not very clean in the breakfast area either. Won't be staying here again.
