“Very GenY Glam!”
We absolutely loved this hotel! We will be staying in Spicer's accomodation from now on where possible. We had a total boutique experience with all the details thought of, down to the brand of tea (Tea2), coffee (Nespresso) and stereo system (BOSE) in the rooms! The staff we amazing and on entering told us to make it our home and that we did, the upstairs bar with city skyline view, the front balcony for dining and the lounge room with library, newspapers and games. The food was amazing, best breakfast we have had in a long time! The only downside was there was only breakfast, would have loved a dinner menu for convenience. However the location in the heart of New Farm and The Valley made for a perfect weekend away... all we did was eat, drink, shop and then visit the bar/lounges & nightclubs all within walking distance.
“I want to go back and stay again!”
This little hotel is a real find for people who don't like the pedestrian style and hustle of big 4/5 star hotels in the city. This hotel has it all - friendly, attentive staff; breakfast on a beautiful verandah; a bar on the roof to enjoy a quiet drink and canapes with the skyline and Storey Bridge to marvel at; and lovely, very well appointed rooms. Fluffy gowns, nice toiletries, a coffee machine and quality tea in the rooms - and complimentary WiFi is great feature too. Restaurants are only a street block away. Taxis service this hotel quickly and have been reliable. In terms of value for money, my opinion = 10/10
“Hope to go back”
After 4 weeks touring, we wanted a quiet base from which to see Brisbane and pamper ourselves. We found it to be wonderful in all respects. We arrived tired and a bit ill. The greeting was magnificent and our room exceeded all expectations. It is a small, very classy modern boutique hotel, very tastefully furnished. The staff are exceptionally helpful and the breakfasts magnificent. New Farm is slightly out of the way if you want to be in the centre of things. We were just grateful for the peace and quiet. Getting to the city is easy, either walking or on transport. It will be our first choice when we visit Brisbane again.
“Boutique luxury”
Small, new boutique hotel offering bed and breakfast to an exceptional standard. The staff work really well to provide all the touches for a perfect stay. It is situated in the New Farm area of Brisbane which is both beautifully quiet and close to all the restaurants. Overall you are more like honoured guests than hotel clients. I have nothing but praise and wou D like to stay there again.
