Excellent location with walking distance to shops, dining and museum within the Southbank area Would recommend to upgrade their coffee from International Roasta and ensuring guests have enough tea coffee & sugar for their entire stay I would recommend a mirror for guests to help check the exit from parking on site due to high volume of scooters going along Boundary Street

Blinds missing in room and no curtains - constantly in view of the block accross the way. Room was for the most part clean , although certain areas had been missed (eg there was someones contact lenses and empty packets in the medicine cabinet). Did not honor benefits listed - was told free self parking meant i was free to go find parking by myself, just not in the properties car park. They did after being challenged on this give visitors pass, but wine not given. Staff were very friendly throughout. Not sure if it is an error on expedias side that this is offered.

The best thing I can say about Brisbane One is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. We had a couple of minor issues with the apartment we checked into, and given the holidays it was hard to get things fixed so they moved us into another apartment. The reception staff couldn't have been more helpful and they made what could have been a disappointing stay into something positive. The room was great, with a good kitchen and bathroom, and comfortable bed. Really good location, walkable to the CBD and all that the Southbank of Brisbane has to offer.

Apartment was beautiful but the AC does not reach the rooms and the fans do nothing for the heat that comes in through the windows even with the blinds pulled down. The WIFI was very spotty and we had trouble connecting laptops for work assignments or even the smart TV to watch anything.

The unit was filthy, the washing machine was mould infested and stained my white pants, the dishwasher smelt like mildew, there was a thick layer of dust on all the skirting boards and fans, scuff marks on all walls the floors seemed like they hadn’t even been vacuumed. Our feet and babies knees from crawling were black in minutes. There was several very large clumps of black hair on the rug. Very disappointing considering the money we paid to stay. When we arrived the reception staff tried to charge me for parking, even though my VIP status ensured free parking. Our other VIP perk was a bottle of wine and that wasn’t in our room, had to ask for it. For a 4 star accommodation it’s a shocking place to stay. It’s a good location and the rooftop is nice, wouldn’t waste our money on the place again.

Easy stroll to the City
Apartment within an easy stroll to the City. We had most things we needed, apart from some draws or shelves to put your cloths in or on. We did hang up what we could and lived out of our suitcases with the rest. Not ideal when staying for 6 nights. Not enough shower gel, but when we asked for more, the staff were happy to oblige. We would have liked a coffee machine, and Sky which was a disappointment as most places at these prices have these things. The building site opposite and the busy road below, were quite noisy, but not the fault of the complex. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. The shower was nice and hot. The balcony was nice to sit out on with a cup of tea. The pool was lovely. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. All in all we had a nice stay.

I’ve stayed here before and loved it, but this stay was poor. I’m a Hotels.Com gold member but they didn’t acknowledge this and I didn’t get my free wine upon checkin nor an offer to upgrade (although this is only offered where available). I don’t think they read my room preference as I received a floor at the lower level. The WiFi kept dropping out. The bedroom/bathroom door needed WD40. Balcony door was hard to lock and the balcony tiles were absolutely filthy. It sounded like someone was trying a key in my door at 1am — I think that was a disorientated guest on the floor, but it was concerning nonetheless. I kept hearing a barking dog on someone’s balcony and it was very annoying — although I heard it a lot less towards the end of my stay. With that said, I heard a dog barking regularly on my last stay too. When I extended my stay online I advised them I would stay in the same room but I got a template reply at midnight saying that it would depend on availability. What? It was the same room type!! Went to front desk next day who said it was ok. On the day my extension started they didn’t know I had extended and came into my room to ask why I had not checked out. Then on day prior to my final departure they said I would need to pay if I wanted 1 hour later checkout. Hotels.com gold members get this free which I had to explain (got it free in the end). The attention to detail during my stay was horrendous. I might be back, but only if the rates were cheaper vs other hotels.

We loved it. Floor needed a mop though and we could never get on the internet, even after checking with reception. I think the room must be open to long term rental as the TV needed to be set up / put online to cast to. Not major but was away with my niece for her first “hotel” so the big screen would have been nice for a movie instead of the laptop.
