"We stayed in the deluxe sea view room with a balcony. The room was small but perfecty formed and the balcony overlooking the marina and sea was lovely and scenic. Its walking distance from Kemptown but if you want to go further the hotel is quite far out from town. Nevertheless we had a good stay and would consider staying again."

"A lovely stay in a grand old seafront building. A little rough around the edges where the building is showing its age but not in a particularly off putting way. Stylish decor in common areas, spacious family room for 3 of us. Amenities a little older and more basic (a fan instead of aircon, open rails instead of wardrobes, slightly older carpet with a few stains etc), but all clean and functional. Lovely breakfast with a beautiful view, and kind helpful staff."

"The outside of the hotel was pretty warn down it could do with a refresh. The hotel inside was nice. We had tea facilities but no long lasting milk to use so we couldn’t have a tea in the morning. It was quite noisy in the evening with people leaving the night scene. But a nice room. Clean tidy. Lovely toiletries."

Leonardo Royal Hotel Brighton Waterfront

"Family room was quiet, spacious and clean, with plenty of tea and coffee and mugs. (Kettle would have benefitted from being a little bigger) Room was air conditioned and had a fridge. Bath and shower was good and anti fog mirror was a nice touch. We all slept well in two king beds and enjoyed the view from our room. Check in and check out was quick and stress free, staff were polite and helpful. On site parking was busy but helpful. Location of the hotel right on the sea front and close to the pier. Breakfast in the atrium was lovely and the omelette / pancake station was particularly busy. Good selection of breakfast options and the area was clean and tidy."

"Clean hotel and room Friendly and helpful staff Only one lift was working which was very inconvenient Breakfast food was good No problem parking in the nearby RCP car park for a reduced rate. However this is still expensive"
