Bright River Cottage is a character filled cottage right on the Ovens River and only a very short walk to town. Sit back and relax on the front porch overlooking the Ovens River and the Star Bridge or enjoy the outlook from the rear verandah.

This property is managed on behalf of the owner by Bright Holidays (part of the Dickens Real Estate group).

CANCELLATION POLICY - STANDARD
• If notification of a cancellation or amendment is received more than 14 days prior to the booking arrival date, a fee of $110 (including GST) will apply and will be deducted from the deposit paid prior to the issuing of a refund.
• If notification of a cancellation is received 14 days or less prior to the booking arrival date no refund or credit will apply.

The large, open, light-filled lounge & dining area steps out on to the back verandah and garden. The large couch and chairs ensure your comfort whilst relaxing with a book or watching a movie on the Telstra TV or DVD player.

HEATING & COOLING
You will be comfortable all year round with a combustion fire and split system heating/cooling in the living/dining area, ceiling fans in two of the bedrooms and free standing electric column heaters in the bedrooms. Please note a starter supply of firewood, kindling, fire lighters and matches are supplied. Additional firewood can be purchased at local supermarkets and service stations.

BATHROOM
The bathroom has a shower and vanity with a separate toilet.

Great place, shame about the tradies next door
Great property. Workers building the house next door were on site with tools and music by 7.15am, Saturday morning. Big detraction and one which holiday makers should be warned about.

Ski break in Bright
We really enjoyed the stay in the property. The locatio nis perfect, just next to the city center. All was very clean, the house is spacious and really comfy, with all you need for a stay, long or short ! The fireplace is a must when coming back from a long day of skiing Thanks for having us, we will come back !

Wonderful weekend getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at Bright River Cottage. Having stayed in a lot of places I have come to believe that a well appointed kitchen is a sign of a well looked after holiday home. And this has it all. We could not fault the place for comfort, space, cleanliness and appointment. We were 6 people aged 14-83 and two dogs and we leave Bright River Cottage with sadness and hope to return.

Bright River Cottage was perfect for us. Great location - within walking distance to the eating/shopping area and close by to several walking tracks. Extremely clean and comfortable. We felt like we were at home. Would highly recommend this property.
