Dating from 1632, Llangoed Hall is rich in local history, a fact that is expressed in its’ numerous period furnishings and antique fittings and a distinguished collection of paintings and drawings from such notable artists as Whistler, Herman Dudley Murphy and James Cowie. Llangoed Hall's principal restaurant offers fine dining in a fresh, light and elegant room with candlelit tables and crisp white cloths creating an intimate and relaxing atmosphere. The Chef and his team place emphasis on creating sophisticated dishes which promote the finest local produce, including fruit and vegetables from the Hotel’s own organic gardens. From Welsh lamb and local Salmon to Black Beef, the menu offers up a delicious range of classic dishes with a unique twist. The Wine list is similarly distinguished, with an outstanding selection of world wines sure to compliment any meal. Alongside the lunch and dinner menu, there is also an all-day lounge menu which guests can enjoy in the casual atmosphere of one of our sumptuous lounges.
