"I've always stayed on the other side of the strip, but we were in Vegas to see BTS at Allegiant Stadium so we opted for Mandalay Bay, and loved our stay! The hotel was accommodating, modern, clean and we had nothing but the best help and service from everyone there. My little girl LOVED the lazy river, wave pool and beach, and we had a great time lounging during the day. The location was great - the only tricky thing was finding the parking garage behind the hotel - which was quite popular because of the BTS concert across the street - but it worked out great in the end."

"Don’t stay in the Habitat rooms unless you like the sound and feel of techno base starting in the morning from the pool and all night from the club across the street at Caesars Palace which ends at 3 AM… it was so loud…it rattled the windows. I understand this is Vegas… but the music factor was ridiculous especially at the pool. Don’t bring your kids to this hotel if it’s pool time you want!! The music is just as annoying at the family pool which ruins it. I thought the hotel was great… it was nice and clean. Plenty of food choices and slot machines, etc. convenient location which I liked. The worst part is that they do not have Diet Coke in the hotel just Pepsi. Also, there is no concierge to speak of. Went to the VIP desk to ask a quick question and was immediately snubbed one of the male workers at that desk."

Excalibur Hotel & Casino

"The Excalibur Hotel is a great budget choice; super convenient to the free monorail to Mandalay Bay and also just a short walk over to NYNY & Park MGM. The renovated resort tower is fine; the furniture is new but the room is not, also the bathroom is clean. Try to ask for a room facing outwards - towards the highway or facing NyNy; better view and not as noisy."
