“Friendly Staff and Unique Styling”
Most enjoyable visit. Have stayted several times in the past. For the location and price can't beat the value.
“Kimpton's are great hotels”
We have stayed in Kimpton hotels across the country and all have been excellant hotels. Friendly and courteous staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. The choice of colors and materials in the rooms is relaxing and pleasing to the eye. The Onyx in Boston, MA is no exception. It lived up to our expectations 100%.

Very quiet, clean and nice service. 50 yards from the Boston Garden. Several sports pubs on the same block (great food).
“Great stay!”
Stayed at the Onyx three nights with friends from Nov. 11 to Nov. 14. 6 of us in total. 3 double bed rooms were booked. We, all men, were there mainly for the Bruins games on Nov. 11 and Nov. 13. The staff at the hotel were just super! We were well received and they gave us great info on the City of Boston, restaurants, night entertainment, etc. The rooms were great! The hotel is a 1 minute walk from the TD Garden and just a few minutes walk from Faneuil Hall and many great restaurants. This was the main reason for our stay at this hotel. First time in Boston, first time at Onyx. We enjoyed our stay so much that we will be returning, maybe with our wives!!!
“Great place to stay!”
Stayed 5 nights at the Onyx in May 2009. We found the front desk staff to be friendly and willing to assist with all our needs. We mentioned we might like to take a trip to Cape Cod and within minutes they had printed off some options for us. Our room was very clean and always made up when we returned. This hotel is close to several Irish pubs and there is a 7-11 at the end of the block. The subway is 2 blocks away. Great location. Would definitely recommend.

Nice business hotel. Room was smallish but adequate for a business stay.

I would certainly recommend this hotel to others. The staff was wonderful! Wish it had a free continental breakfast, but there were enough places to eat very close by.

I've stayed at the Onyx for about 4 times already within the past two years. the staff there are wonderful! rooms are clean. hotel location is great- 7 11 is right down the street, the T (green & orange line) is closeby, there are several bars on the block behind the Onyx and it's about less than a 10 minute walk to Faneuil Hall. perfect for a date night!
