“A Must Stay!!!!”
Great location, great parking, Subway right outside the front door. 13 minute walk to TD Garden and 1 block for Quincy Market. Super clean room, huge room and bathroom. Would recommended highly and will stay again.
“The Perfect Place”
This hotel is superbly located - very close to great restaurants and bars, convenience store, Quincy Market and the Freedom Trail. The Aquarium train station is right outside the door and is just two stops away from the airport and it is very easy to travel with your luggage in tow. Boston is a very walking friendly city and the Harborside Inn was the perfect base for our four day vacation. Given it's central location, it was very quiet in our room and we are light sleepers. The bed was super comfortable, the room large and the bathroom was very spacious with the largest vanity I've ever seen in a hotel. All the staff we dealt with during our stay were efficient, friendly, helpful and very obliging. The beverages provided in the lobby were always hot and welcome and they provided fresh milk which we found was a rarity throughout the US. Overall, I would highly recommend this great hotel.
“Going to Boston for a Bruins or Celtics game?”
Great location to the TD banknorth Garden and Quincy Market. Both in walking distance. No bar or dining at hotel.....but plenty of options for both also in walking distance. No parking on premises but a parking garage 2 blocks away....very affordable.Very clean hotel with a helpful staff. If you're looking to catch a game at the Garden or spend weekend shopping at Quincy Market it's a great choice. Free wi-fi in every room.
“Unexpected jewel in a great location!!!”
We chose this hotel based on the reviews found on Expedia. Although this was a personal trip, I would also recommend it for business travel as well. The location is perfect! Right on State street close to everything and the Blue Line subway entrance is right outside the front door! The Hotel itself is very well maintained, with a classy decor that does not overwhelm. I felt clam and relaxed in our nice room. There was a great stereo system in there so we listened to music and relaxed with wine in the evening. (There is even a speaker in the bathroom, way to go!) The room was very clean and the bathroom immaculate. As a frequent business traveler, I typically do not like to stay in hotels for pleasure unless I have a personal recommendation from someone who knows what I like, but this was a real exception! The bed was also comfortable with quality sheets (not the thin, cheap sheets that make you feel there is no barrier between you and the last person who slept there!). Staff was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. This was our last stop after visiting family in the area and capped of the experience on a high note. I will definitely come back again when I visit Boston. For those of you who like to imbibe and enjoy the night life, this is also close to most of the best bars and a lot of good restaurants so you can walk off a little of the alcohol/meal before hitting the sack!
“Harborside, best in town.”
After spending a night in this hotel, I may never go to another one in Boston. This was an excellent stay. High ceilings and brick walls make this a room to remember. If you do not like noise I suggest choosing an atrium room. I do no mind the noise so a city view room was excellent. Also, could not beat the location! Right next to the Blue Line T and North End.
“A great, overlooked value.”
Can't beat the location, or the price. Very cool, contemporary rooms.
“My favorite in Boston”
Excellent location right next to Quincy Market, really nice rooms with modern showers, comfortable beds. Very efficient check-in.
“We love it!”
My husband and I had an outstanding experience at the Harbor Side Inn of Boston. The location is superb, giving you easy access to all parts of Boston. The rooms are just right with a touch of exposed brick adding to the charm. I can't give it enough accolades. We are going to make staying there an annual event!
“Best hotel shower ever!!!”
The best hotel shower ever!! We had a great clean walk-in shower that had fantastic water pressure, it was like being at home. The location is central and near all the T-Stations. We will be back soon.
“The perfect location”
This was our second visit to the Harborside and we were just as impressed as the first time. The location is superb: just round the corner from Quincy Market and ideally placed for all Boston attractions. The front desk staff are very helpful and courteous, and nothing is too much trouble. We found the complimentary internet very useful and we were upgraded to a Queen Atrium room which was spacious and very comfortable. We would recommend the Harborside to anyone.
