"On arrival at Waterside Hotel, found the car park was mostly filled with work vans, so wondered if it was the right choice for a couple, but on entering we found the staff friendly and helpful, the room was basic but clean, the TV was set on the dressing table blocking the mirror. Breakfast in the morning was really good, with a great choice and tasty well cooked hot food and good speedy service, so good value overall."

"Cottage had everything you may need. Small welcome pack with tea/coffee/sugar/milk and shortbread for your arrival. Off road parking was a bonus. Chip shop within walking distance which was also an ice cream shop, post office and sold some groceries. Wonderful beach within walking distance too."

"We feel as though we are somehow doing Trump MacLeod House some sort of disservice by calling it a Hotel as from arrival we never felt that we were staying in a Hotel. It felt more as though we were guests in a Baronial home. The standard of service, food and accommodation was exceptional. The entire Staff made us feel at home from the moment of arrival. The quality of finish and standard of housekeeping was second to none. A very peaceful and relaxing stay. 5 stars all the way! "
