Great accomodation in a lovely spot
Comfortable and clean, with almost everything we needed and in an ideal location. We loved the attractive interior and outside deck - and didnt even mind the "cat" quirkiness, though we're generally dog people! All in all, a very enjoyable short stay. Highly recommended.

Charming Stay at a Cosy House
We had a delightful stay at such a cosy house! The location was superb, with easy access to many natural attractions and walking tracks. The owner was incredibly friendly and promptly addressed any issues. Plus, the two adorable cats added a charming touch to our experience.” 🏡 😸😸

Lovely stay
I really enjoyed this cozy space. It had everything i needed, was very clean, lots of space to stretch out and all things you would need in the kitchen. Host was very nice and replied quickly. Was quiet and peaceful, plus close to walking distance to the train or shops. I would come back and stay again.

Quiet and convenient
The "Cat on the Hat" house is a short walk from the station for those catching the train to Blackheath (recommended). There is a covered back deck with a bbq and lots of plants and an occasional visit from a little black cat (if you're lucky). The kitchen is pretty bare bones, but you're a 7-10 minute walk from great restaurant options. Clean and quiet!

Lots of character and charm. Only real negative was the stayz app itself: 1. Why isn't the street address revealed until much closer to the date? 2. Why does the multi factor authentication only work through email (My provider is really slow - that's another story) 3. The notes to/ from host function doesn't work in the Android app (too many Web redirects error) making it difficult to check for info etc enroute.

Delightful
Very pleasant set of rooms, especially if you like cats (the theme of the decorations). There's even a private patio with a grill. Location is ~5 minutes walk from downtown cafes and convenient driving distance to lots of Blue Mountains attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Thank you for your 5 star review staying at the cat house , I guess is better than being in the dog 🏠 house We are glad you we could accommodate your early 10 am check in As for the cat decor we feel it adds to the quirkiness for your stay and makes it more appealing than a dull hotel room The mention of cat hair is a mystery to me as no cats ever go into the studio and our standards of cleaning are very high as previous comments will testify from happy visitors Regards Sharlene

Comfort and humour
Delightful decore with finishing top quality touches- knee rugs, entertaining items with a cat theme, spacious rooms, great heating/ cooling etc. A walk to town or train station, lovely enclosed courtyard. Handy kitchen appliances. Tv can loose connection.Netflix or internet tv wasn’t working for us but we were very happy with this accommodation.

Cosy, convenient and quiet
I enjoyed my solo stay at Cat On The Hat. The whole unit is beautifully clean and fitted out, with character touches, the bed comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. A short walk from Blackheath shops but also wonderfully peaceful.

First time experiencing a cat themed anything and I loved it. It was very querky and fun, loved how cozy it was.. I felt like I never left home. Heating is great, they left lots of notes around in case you were wondering how to use anything which was helpful. Shower pressure was quite nice. Thank you!

Studio was spotless and comfortably furnished. Gas heating very efficient. Cat memorabilia amazing and fun. Studio kitchen and cooking facilities as stated. Quite adequate but a tip is to plan your meals around appliances available. Studio is convenient to village and quiet. We enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended and great value.

A lovely place to stay in Blackheath.
Very welcoming; clean; warm; cosy; comfortable bed; blockout curtains; well appointed kitchen; bright, undercover, enclosed deck outside the kitchen. Short walk to village centre but not a very busy location. Perfect for a couple. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Thank you for your review We have tried to cater for most cooking needs I.e. small oven microwave frying pan and weber bbq unfortunately being a kitchenette and not full kitchen it is just impossible to fit in We are glad you enjoyed THE CAT

As a cat lover, this was the purrfect place to stay. So many fun and quirky cat things as well as an actual cat coming to visit. Very comfortable and close to the main part of Blackheath. Surrounded by beautiful trees. Just lovely and I've already booked for next year's holiday.

Purrrrfect stay!
This is a lovely spot for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings of Blackheath. The studio is at the front of the house rather than a whole house which is not entirely clear from the listing, but that was not a problem at all. The back deck is very private - like a little wonderland, the house very quiet and the front garden delightful. The entire studio is beautifully furnished and super cosy with gorgeous 'cats' in abundance :) The hostesses are very considerate and generous and thought of everything to make this a very special stay - loved the Christmas decorations - a very thoughtful touch as was the lovely bubbles and choccys! My daughter had a wonderful stay - thank you so much!

Cats the way we like it
Catastic stay in the cattage. Loved the little notes around the place and the cat trinkets. Was a comfortable place to come home to after a long day. All in all we feline fine in the place and would recommend to anyone.

Lovely clean property with character
Cat on a Hat is neat and clean with just enough “catmosphere” to make it a memorable stay. All amenities were clean and fresh, the bed comfortable, and the mini oven big enough for a pizza which had dinner sorted! Access was simple and we were close to walks, shops and restaurants (we ordered delivery from the local Thai restaurant which was terrific!). A lovely warm comfy stay.

Comfortable and quiet
Despite the awful weather we had a lovely 4 night stay. The cottage is walking distance to shops and cafes, and offers a warm welcome after being out and about. Great little outdoor area with a BBQ, and plenty of cosy comforts inside. Good heating and lighting, and a very comfortable large bed. Highly recommended.
