"I was shocked when I entered the room and found extensive water damage and mold covering a large section of the ceiling near the entrance. The ceiling showed significant discoloration, staining, peeling, and dark spots consistent with prolonged moisture exposure. The damage was so severe that I did not feel safe staying in the room.
Beyond being unsightly, these conditions raise legitimate concerns about air quality, health risks, and overall building maintenance. No guest should be expected to stay in a room with visible water damage and potential mold contamination overhead.
The room should have been removed from inventory and repaired before being assigned to any guest. This reflects a serious lack of quality control and concern for customer safety. After a long day of traveling I expected to walk into a clean, safe, and habitable room, and this room failed to meet even basic standards. I would strongly encourage management to ensure rooms are thoroughly inspected before being rented to guests. Yesh your service was great but that hotel is a no-go!!!!"
