“Great service”
Although I had booked a twin room through Expedia, there seemed to be some confusion at the hotel - they mentioned that whatever is booked through this website isn't guaranteed with the hotel itself. The only thing the hotel could offer was a double room with a single bed wheeled in. That suited our needs perfectly. They then offered us complimentary breakfast, oh and 1 minute after arriving in the room (which came complete withy an Apple Mac !), 2 glasses of complimentary champagne arrived. Great service. For the money this was superb - highly recommended.
“Excellent location, and comfy hotel.”
Clean and tidy. Got everything I need in the room.
“Excellent business stay”
I often need to come to birmingham on business. Having tried out most of the competition this is the best on offer. Free wifi, iMac and great rooms. Room service was great as was breakfast in the morning. I will be going back!
“Did not get what Expedia promised”
The room I booked through Expedia said that there were 2 queen beds. The hotel advised they do not have any rooms which have 2 queen beds. Walk in shower - no walk in shower. No bathrobes or newspapers
“Quietly but very conveniently situated”
From the moment we arrived at the hotel after a long drive, we found all the staff welcoming, helpful, efficient and friendly. The hotel is quietly but very conveniently situated near the canals with their bridges and twinkly lights, restaurants, bars and a short walk from the main shopping areas. The bar, dining room and lounge area were all very attractive. A wide choice of food for breakfast including individually cooked omelets with a choice of fillings. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to all visitors to Birmingham and we will definitely stay here again on our next visit.
“Good City Hotel”
This hotel has everything you require for a City break. The Hotel is clean and the rooms are real light, comfortable and has everything you require. There are loads of thing to see, places to eat and drink in walking distance to the hotel, but you don't hear any noise. I would stay there again and wife loved the place as well.
“Thoroughly recommended”
Used the Hilton Garden Inn while I was in Brimingham for a 5 day training course and made the booking based on previous reviews. The hotel was conveniently situated about a 15 minute walk from New Street station and the training centre. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel for all travellers. The room was very comfortable and quiet with all the amenities you would expect to find. Clean bathroom with plenty of toiletries on offer. Ironing board if needed, tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge and safe also in the room. The buffet breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice from a continental style to a full english if you so wish. I ate in the hotel restaurant each evening and again I thought the food was excellent from either the a-la-carte menu or the set price menu. All the hotel staff were also very friendly, courteous and helpful
“Great location”
Lovely place to stay in Birmingham. Right on Broad street or Brindley Place. What ever takes your fancy.
“Review”
A fantastic hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was superb you could even make your own waffles. The location for the NIA could not be better, within a 2 minute walk we were back at our hotel. I would thoroughly reccommend this hotel to everyone. Thank you Hilton for a fantastic stay.
“Our stay in Birmingham”
We had booked a room with 2 Queen beds. The first room we were given had a double bed. When we said that we had booked a room with Queen beds we were told that the hotel doesn't have any! The TV sound did not work in the second room and the sound could not be activated because the software was not available! Having unpacked and hung up our clothes, we had to pack everything up again and move to yet another room where the TV worked. The TV/computer only had instructions for the computer. Otherwise the hotel was fine and excellently placed.
