“Wonderful Hotel”
Hotel Miro was a wonderful hotel. The staff provided excellent customer service. It was a short walk to the Guggenheim.
“Perfect location in Bilbao”

“Modern Class in Bilbao”
My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights and loved this hotel. It is very stylish, comfortable, clean, and very well located. The hotel staff is very friendly and professional. The first room they gave us had a leak in the ceiling, probably from the air conditioning. There was no problem in switching to a different room, this one with a view of the street and the Guggenheim. There is construction going on directly across the street, but the noise did not bother us as the windows are very well insulated. We enjoyed the fact that we could rent and watch DVDs - we had already been travelling and partying a lot and wanted a quiet break one night. The spa is a nice treat as well. If we visit Bilbao again (it's likely, the city is very charming) we'll definitely stay at the Miro.
“Extremely Satisfied”
The hotel staff was extremely nice and accommodating. My stay there was wonderful. The Guggenheim was literally a two minute walk and visible from the hotel. My only complaint is that the water wasn't very hot in the spa or shower. I think it may have been do to the construction in front of the hotel.
“Fabulous small hotel”
This is a fabulous, small hotel, charming and appealing, with a friendly, personal staff. The location by the river and a block from the Gugenheim is ideal. The contemporary decor is gracious and user friendly, with comfortable furnishings beautifully scaled to the rooms. Construction across the street on the new high-rise and the roadbed make for noisy weekdays at this time. The vistas of the Guggenheim from the front windows will remain, but new construction across the street will block some of the lovely mountain views across the river when complete. Never-the-less this is still a top choice boutique hotel, in a great location for art lovers.
“Excellent hotel and exxcellent location near Guggenheim.”
Very contenporary hotel. Comfortable and good location. Highly recommend it. Good, helpful and English speaking staff. Breakfast was goo but a bit over priced. Excellent restaurants nearby. Many sites within easy walking distance.
“Excellent hotel and perfectly situated for Guggenheim and city centre”
Excellent hotel. Guggenheim Museum 2/3 minutes walk away and city centre about 10 minutes. Staff extremely friendly throughout our stay- general enquiries about Bilbao answered helpfully and additional requirements for room answered promptly. Our room was at the front of the hotel and overlooked the Guggenheim with lovely views of surrounding hills. Room was excellent with usual facilities- king size double bed very comfortable. We ate breakfast at cafés in the streets close to the hotel- plenty of choice. The courtesy bar in the hotel was particularly useful if you wanted a short break between activities or visits- wide range of wine, beer, coffee, soft drinks available without charge. Bus stop for the airport bus in Alameda Recalde five minutes walk way. No hesitation in recommending this great hotel.
“Not really a room with a view!!”
The Miro is a beautiful hotel in the midst of construction. Bilbao and the area around the Guggenheim Museum is still under heavy construction. But I did enjoy my stay even though the rooms are small and there is not a bathtub in the room as the picture sugguests. The whirlpool in the basement is quite relaxing and the breakfast is nice.
“Great location for visiting the Guggenheim”
Modern, well thought out design. Desk, mini-bar, tv hidden behind a sliding panel, "closet" space hidden behind thick curtain. Staff very helpful in getting us a late-night ham and cheese sandwich upon our arrival. Valet parked the car (extra charge for the garage). Our 4th floor room faced east, and we had an un-obstructed view of the Guggenheim Museum located just north of the hotel less than a block away . However, a new building is going up directly in front of the Hotel Miro. Construction noise began around 9am, but we were up anyway.
