“Great Hotel”
Fantastic service, good location. There is ongoing construction in the area but did not bother us. Friendly professional staff nice lounge bar
“Excellent! Affordable, close to everything and great staff.”
Well worth the extra money. I'm a single middle income Mom who came to visit my daughter studying abroad. I wanted a place we could both enjoy during her leisure time away from studies and work. Fantastic! Great shopping and restaurants nearby as well as transportation. You have to try the Spa! excellent massage therapy. The food and wine at the hotel restaurant and bars is excellent but expensive so we frequented local cafes. Ride the local bus #100 right outside the door for a beautiful round city tour of many local attractions. I can't say enough about the friendly helpful staff. Hope I can visit again soon.
“repeat guests”
This is the 3rd time I've stayed in this hotel. The staff is helpful. The facilities are well-maintained. The hotel is centrally located & in a pleasant neighborhood. I highly recommend this hotel.
“Superb Hotel! Great Location...will be back!!”
Nestled near great shopping districts and easy access to all bus tours of Berlin as well as public transport. Fantastic rooms and service from staff was flawless.
“Amazing cozy hotel in best Berlin area”
Wonderful hotel, greatly located in a venue of great shopping and fabulous restaurants. Great and very discreete service.
“Fabulous hotel”
Hotel is right across from the Zoo and is a 5 minute walk from Zoo station (for u-bahn and s-bahn). When we arrived we were offered an upgrade from our existing superior room to a suite for a very reasonable 30 euros a night. I would definitely stay here again.
“Lovely Hotel”
We were very satisfied all round with the Palace Hotel - the location was very convenient for public transport, staff were very helpful and courteous and the room was comfortable and serviced daily (including early evening check to see if you want your bed turned down). Overall, a nicely run hotel which we found no fault with whatsoever. Definitely recommended
“Would love to go back”
A truly delightful hotel in a great location close to the Zoologischer Garten Station where you can board a train to pretty much anywhere you want to go in Berlin. It is also minutes away from a large mall with bars and restaurants so you don't have to dine in the super but rather expensive hotel dining room. We thought the spa in the hotel was excellent. It has a decent sized pool open early until late - an unusual facilility in a city centre hotel. Bath robes and pool slippers are provided.
“Palace presidential floor”
The hotel is listed in the Leading Hotels of the World book and amongst other features boasts attention to security. We were located on the top floor which also has the presidential suite so had to use our security card to get the lift to thus floor. Service including room service was superfast, courteous and efficient in contrast to other parts and venues in this city. The spa is very covenient, but there is extra charge to use the sauna facilities which range from an ice cave to a very hot Finnish style sauna. We didn't have the breakfast, but did find a good restaurant within the Europa centre (literally a couple of minute;s walk) that did an equivalent breakfast buffet for half the price of the hotel. The only gripe is about the cost of internet access. Many places where I have stayed include free WiFi access. This doesn't and their rate for one hour is almost the same as 24 hour access which in turn has an ordinary and "business" rate, the latter being a bit higher. The restaurant in the hotel is proud of its Michelin star and it is advisable to book for dinner. The prices reflect the status and there are plenty of places to eat of both local multisourced ethnic cuisines within a 5-10 minute walk. For shoppers, the hotel is at one end of Ku'dam the Oxford and Regent Street equivalent and KaDeWe department store which is similar to Harrods and whose sixth floor boasts delicatessen fare and bars at which to eat them.
“good hotel, but...”
i think it better to have stayed on the old eastern side of the city, more going on, better for nights out.
