"We were looking forward to staying for 5 nights in the quiet valley of Hermigua but found the hotel to be very noisy with poor soundproofing between rooms. We had a room next to family with young children who screamed the place down so much we asked to move rooms but the noise carried throughout the building as well as other guests meeting in bedrooms chatting till late so not a restful stay. "A quirky hotel room with a spiral staircase from room door and bathroom up to the bedroom. Excellent location for the town centre, restaurants and paths up the mountains. "At first sight this house was the unique rural cottage we had been looking for. There is a large covered veranda with a long picnic table that acts as the kitchen table. The interior is literally three small rooms: two bedrooms and a kitchen/living room. Which leaves the bathroom as another room off the veranda. "We were very pleased with aspects of our stay, the apartment was clean and bright, next to the sea and was comfortable and generally well equipped. However the shower was not hot and had to run for around 10 minutes before reaching its maximum, inadequate temperature. "We had a great holiday in this little house. There is everything you could need and is very comfortable. We did have a couple of problems which were very quickly sorted out after an email. Definitely recommend for a couple who want a quiet holiday. The village is in a good location for walks but you would probably need to have a rental car to get around. A highlight for us was the proximity to the sea water pool which was lovely to get into after a day walking."

"Problemlose Buchung, Check-in, check-out. Wohnung it fünf Betten, kleine Zimmer, aber ok. Ausstattung wie leider oft üblich: Messer, die nicht schneiden, abgenutzte Gläser, altes Geschirr - aber sonst absolut ausreichend. Sehr sauber alles. Am besten ist die riesige Terrasse - sehr schöne Aussicht. Die Lage geht so: Im oberen Teil von La Calera, zum Strand muss man schon 20 Minuten laufen und zurück dauert es wegen der Steigung länger. Alles in allem: Wir waren zufrieden."

It has to be said that the apartment is quite basic in terms of furniture and kitchen facilities. Comfortable beds and good black out curtains.
