“Most interesting holiday”
Oriental Garden Hotel was very welcoming and staff were eager to understand and please.Bedrooms were spacious and catered for every need. The hotel served a very good western breakfast. Taxis were always available when needed.
“Clean hotel, convenient location”
Hotel was great! Location was very convenient, right next to subway, with direct access to airport express train. Lots of restaurants on the next street. Service was excellent. Lobby staff were polite and helpful. I didn't use some of their services such as laundry so can't comment on these. Otherwise, services were prompt and pleasant. Room was standard, nice and clean, better than expected. The bed was a bit on the hard side, but that's customary for chinese beds. Linen was not very clean when I first checked in but they were changed immediately upon call to front desk. Overall a pleasant stay. Great value for money. Would stay there again if in Beijing. Definitely recommend it.
“Cement Slab Beds”
Typical Chinese rock-hard beds. Although I did not expect typical Chinese beds at this type of hotel. Hotel was extremely noisy. Construction during the day and children running up and down the halls at night. Worse, was the staff at the front desk. They wanted to charge me twice my original rate when I inquired about staying two more nights. They told me if I wanted the original rate, to book it online.
