“Wish we had stayed longer”

We stayed for one night and wished we had planned our trip to stay longer! This is a quaint historical pub in lovely English village. We were in the Sedgemore Room which was spacious and filled with character and history. We were travelling with our two dogs who were made very welcome and could hang out with with us in the bar area. Behind the carpark is a large open park backing onto a church where we could take the dogs for a run around. We ate in the bar for dinner, fish and chips in front of the open fire, and breakfast was one of the better ones we've had travelling. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. This is a great place to base yourself to visit Bath (a short drive away). If you are looking for something a little different with some character and history the George Inn is highly recommended.
