“Beautiful view and hotel and friendly staff”
The hotel experience was lovely. What an amazing view and location. Gorgeous decor. The staff were very courteous and friendly. The spa treatment and use of the facilities we received was great. The only downside was kids jumping and diving in the pool though signposted not too and parents letting them do this i.e. the pool was unsupervised which made the exeperience less relaxing. The long drive and speed bumps was a bit of a pain but then once you got there and soaked in the atmosphere it was relaxing.
“Nice if you like raw chicken”
The setting was wonderful, and it should have been a lovely stay. All of the staff with whom we came in contact were friendly and courteous. However, there were just not enough staff. Checking in and checking out were unnecessarily slow processes. Our room wasn't ready on time. The occasional picture on the bedroom wall would have been a nice touch. None of which particularly bother me - "the rich tapestry of life". However, when my partner was served a chicken sandwich in the brasserie and the chicken was still pink - even red in one part - I really do not feel that this is acceptable.
