Old and run down property. Room was small and stuffy. I had trouble breathing due to the dusty musty smell. Manager kindly gave us a larger room, however still old and rundown. Linen on bed smelt and caused a rash on my arms. Great location for such a dismal property.

Inspect Room before paying!
I booked at last minute and arrived at 6.30 pm so finding another room would have been difficult I stay at alot of motels and being modern is not a big thing but cleanliness is. Mould on every wall and door in bathroom. Curtains stained fron where guests touch to open and close, ceiling water damaged. Dust was hanging off brick walls. It was just a standard room but I thought that didn't mean in regards to how clean it was. On a positive note, staff were friendly,bed was comfortable & sheets were clean -unlike anything else.

Mould in the bathroom. Curtains were hanging off and falling to pieces. Not blockout. Lights and noise kept me awake most of the night. It was within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Very disappointed because it was our last night of holidays. A bad way to finish.

Perfect spot motel
I travel a lot and have stayed at different motels in Batemans bay , I enjoyed my stay at the beach drive motel as the weather was perfect and the bay is a perfect place for a relaxing walk. Also only 5 minute walk into town for a meal or there is a nice Thai restaurant next door. I would stay here again no problem.

A very pleasant stroll from Batemans Bay town centre, the Beach Drive Motel provided all we needed for a comfortable stay. We stayed in one of their Deluxe Double rooms and found it surprisingly spacious. Although we didn't self cater, there was a good sized refrigerator and microwave in the room, although only tea/coffee utensils were provided and there was very limited washing up capacity. The motel is located in a peaceful area, and provided us with a very budget friendly break.

Great option!
Great location and staff are very friendly and helpful. This is the second time we have stayed here and will happily stay again. Great budget priced hotel in a great location, right across from the water and walking distance to the town centre.

We were looking for somewhere to stay while attending triathlon in town didn't need 5 star room or the rates. This was a convenient location and comfortable room. Would stay again if passing through

Very unclean needs updated curtains had holes in them could see through them Theprice was $169 terrible after seeing the room 1/2 a banana in the fridge left by Previous occupied people told staff member said that they where very busy trying to get rooms ready. Didn't use the shower as floor not very clean sticky and I put a bobby pin that was on the floor rusted in to the bin rusted legs on bathroom unit not a good look if your running a business then you should take care to update the property Sorry but I do not recommend this motel to anyone

Dear Rhona Hope all is well in Mount Kembla. I did apologise for the food left behind in the fridge and you appeared satisfied and even empathetic with my response as it was the very busy Easter Long Weekend. Tariffs in Batemans Bay are higher during certain Holiday periods at all Accommodation providers and you paid the peak rate during your 1 x night stay on Saturday 15.04.17. We are very disappointed with your review as we try hard to make our guest's stay as enjoyable as possible. We are approachable people, yet you failed to mention any of the other issues to me as outlined. From our observations we thought you and your husband were enjoying yourselves. Being the Leasehold Owners, our expenditure is quite substantial and this restricts our spending. The Motel was built in 1971 and does require some improvements that will possibly be carried out if future finances permit. Rust can be more prevalent in Coastal areas and this can expedite the corrosive process. Had we known of you not showering we could have made other arrangements for you to cleanse yourself. We look forward to your next visit and wish you well on your future travels.

We had a fantastic experience and will use Beach Drive Motel as our go to! Staff are absolutely lovely! So much so that we stayed another night! We look forward to staying again in the near future :)

Old hotel needing complete renovation.
Mattress may need to be replaced, dust mites attacked with a vengeance! Water from shower and basin always on the floor. Manager couldn't do anything until we left he said. Bed was too close to the wall for another bedside table. Water wouldn't go down drain in basin. Gaps around doors need plugging, light comes through and a bit see through. A paint job wouldn't go astray. Photos on line hid the roughness of the place. I suppose it was cheap for a reason?

Nice as close to the water. Nice restaurant just next to the motel. Room outdated but otherwise okay. Has microwave, kettle, cups. Hair dyer per request. Only downer, found couple of long hair on the sheet.

A very basic small room which had queen bed. The room needed updating but was clean. We were only wanting a standard room but I think it was a little too basic.
