“Fantastic hotel!”

U232 was fantastic. A great boutique hotel with beautiful rooms. Our room was large and spacious, ours even had a small outdoor patio. The room was very modern and clean, bathroom had marble benchtops and a large bath/shower. The metro was about 100m down the street so transport around Barcelona was easy. Free wi-fi in rooms was also a bonus. Staff were a pleasure to deal with, happy to help with information and directions. The only thing that could have made the hotel better would have been if it had a pool and a larger gym. The gym is a tiny room with about 4 machines in it.

Area recommendations
Check out the Gaudi masterpieces: Sagrada Familia and Park Guell, amazing design and architechture. If you like football, you can't visit Barcelona without seing the Nou Camp, home of FC Barcelona. La Rambla is also worth a visit

“GREAT HOTEL”

“Great Location”

The hotel has a great location, just a block away from the metro and a few blocks away from the train station. Room is small but clean and modern. Only problem as with most European big city hotels is the parking. We drove from France and decided to return our car early (at the Sants Train Station a few blocks away) than to pay 20+ euros a day for a car that has no use when walking through the city as there is no where to park.

“U232 was great!”

Loved this hotel. The neighborhood it is in is quiet, yet it is only a short walk from all the crazy/interesting sites in Barcelona, like Ramblas. Or take the Metro, it is 1 block away. The #5 line is right there, and you switch to #3 after 2 stops and lots of tourist attractions are on that line. Back to U232: Nice rooms, GREAT showers, free internet, and good help from the front desk folks finding your way around. Thumbs up!

Area recommendations
Parc Guell. Huge park dating back to the 20s with some of that crazy Gaudi architecture, Loads of interesting things to look at, and beautiful vistas of Barcelona. We went there twice. Take the Metro there if you can handle a lot of uphill, or take a cab to the front gates!

“Very impressive.”

You will not regret staying at this hotel. Everything is within walking distance if a mile is within your limit. Metro just down the road 100 yards if you do not want to stay above ground to see the sights. Great rates can be had too if you look for them.

“Hidden sophistication in Barcelona”

Located south of L'xiample neighborhood this hotel sticks out from surroudig stores and satisfies. The hotel is decorated In dark stone and woods. Very chic and modern with deluxe furnishings. Very rich in Barcelona history with black and white photos of landmarks. Onsite free business center and wireless Internet access. Multi-lingual staff was sufficient and did not go out of there way to provide more assistance than needed. Those who do not speak Catalan may find shopping and dining in the immediate area challenging but we had no difficulty navigating Barcelna from here and getting back to major tourist areas.

Las Ramblas is a central area for travelers, shopping, dining, and tourist areas.
Getting around
Public transport is limited in his area. A taxi is necessary from any trips outside walking distance.

“U232 - Loved it!”

I was extremely satisfied with my stay at U232. It's located in Exiample - close enough to all the attractions but far enough from the rowdy crowds. There are a lot of GREAT restaurants in the area. The staff were super friendly, the room was modern and clean. Definitely recommend this!!!
