“great location”

This hotel has a great location, just a couple blocks from La Rambla, walking distance to many places, and close to metro. The room was very very small but really comfortable and clean, had AC/heating system, TV and hair drier, and the bed was fine. The corridors look like they are being remodeled (although I never saw anyone working or any equipment) and sound isolation was not great (you can hear other people walking down the hall or closing doors), but that only encourages you to spend time outside exploring the city.

“Excellent Location”

Location was excellent, easy walking distance to places of interest and harbour.Street was busy and interesting but the hotel was quiet. Rooms are a little on the worn side but all functions well , spotless and beds comfortable. Staff are helpful. Value for the money and an interesting historical building.

“Great location”

If you like nightlife and a good central location, the Hotel Rialto is a great place to stay. Right on Ferran, close to Las Ramblas, Hotel Rialto was very close to the trendy Born district and a short Metro ride (or a good stroll) from other Barcelona hotspots, like Gaudi's works, the zoo, etc. Some of the front desk staff were friendlier than others, but everyone was very helpful. The hotel rooms were small, but clean. (It's not as if you're traveling to spend time in your hotel room, anyway, right??) The staff was right on time with a wake up call the day of our departure and upon our request, had arranged for a taxi to pick us up and take us to the airport very early. Overall, it was a good and affordable hotel with a courteous staff that spoke English very well, for those who aren't fluent in Catalan or Spanish.

“Really good, especially for the price.”

Location is the best you can get, right between La Rambla and the Barri Gothic. So if you're younh(ish) - that's where you want to be haha. Really nice hotel, enjoyed my stay, close to tons of bars, etc, and very central... not to mention cheap. You can walk the main parts of the city no problem. I fully recommend.

“excellent location, decent hotel”

The Rialto is a good hotel, what you'd expect of 3 stars, but the location makes it exceptional, situated near the Ramblas, harbour and the wonderful narrow lanes around the cathedral The hotel is clean and comfortable, rooms of a decent size with nicely modernised bathrooms. Ours looked out onto a small light well, but our friends had much better views onto nicer courtyards. The rooms were very quiet, an advantage in a city centre location. The only problem was the pickpockets - caught one trying to removie my husband's wallet - please take care!

“Small room but excellent location”

We only booked the Hotel Rialto in Barcelona a week before we actually went and we managed to get quite a good deal with Expedia on the room (20% off room rate) even for a Bank Holiday weekend trip. We asked for a double room, non-smoking but ended up in a tiny double room (smoking!). We have to say that the room was very clean with a lovely bathroom. We were on the Carrer de Ferran right in the heart of the Barrio Gotic. Excellent location for shopping, visiting attractions, museums, walking to the marina, La Rambla etc. Everything was within walking distance and there were 2 metro stations very nearby. For a hotel that was right in the centre of town, we were surprised at how quiet this hotel was. We slept very well with no noise anywhere. We would recommend that you don't eat in the hotel as it is very expensive. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants within walking distance that offer cheaper meals.

“Ideally located - clean, cool, comfortable”

Ideally located right in the Gothic Quarter two blocks east of Las Ramblas, and near museums, cathedral, amazing winding alleys and shops, the hotel has location, location, location. Rooms are small as three stars would indicate, but very comfortable for two, good showers, and excellent air-conditioning for the 37C days we had. For the money and location, unbeatable.
