“Great location and funky rooms”

Great location. Easy 5/10 min stroll to choice of 3 metro stops. View from roof was fantastic. Rooms were compact but airy (about 8 rooms per floor meant hotel never felt rammed). I did think charging 6Euro for 1 bottle of water was a bit cheeky (even if it was infused with petals, or something). Offer it alongside a complementary bottle of plain water please (as the water out of the taps is not (un)pleasant (I got 2x500ml for 1euro, and kept it filled up from the gym in the basement, and chilled in the fridge...;-). Ate there only once (breakfast) and it was ok "buffet" style (who eats chocolate cheese cake for breakfast?) as preferred to get out and find a something on route. Cocktails were great (take to rooftop and enjoy). DJ in the bar on Fri/Sat which clearly was audiable upto the 6 floor landing. We were on the 8th so it didn't bother us! Go, treat yourself. I was worth it. C.xx

“Barcelona Raval”

Great location, much safer feel than we were led to believe. Hotel worth the visit for the 360 degree vistas of Barcelona from the top floor alone!

“Amazing Hotel”

This hotel is ideally situated for the Ramblas in easy walking distance and has it's own Rambla immediately in front of the hotel -called "The Rambla del Raval". This is a tree lined avenue where you can sit and enjoy a drink and soak up the atmosphere. The only downside should you approach via one of the side streets, are the "ladies of the night"!! Just keep walking and you will come to no harm. Other than that, a fantastic modern hotel with wonderful views - just a shame the roof top pool does not open until May but looks like a wonderful way to cool off in summer.

“great hotel”

up and comming location, but a TOP NOTCH hotel. Be careful and dont walk towards las ramblas on St Paul. Its got hookers and drug dealers, go one block south to the next street that is much more quiet and has a GREAT irish pub on it.

“Beautiful hotel in a great location!”

My friend and I absolutely loved the Barcelo Raval! It was immaculate all around from the lobby to our rooms. The hotel staff was very friendly and willing to help. Gorgeous panoramic view of Barcelona from the terrace. If I ever go back to barcelona I will stay here with no questions asked! Only cons were: They missed a wake-up call No water in the fitness room(only expensive small water bottles that you had to buy at the breakfast buffet in the morning)

“Awesome hotel”

Great location - minutes from La Rambla. Totally funky design. Pool was a bit of a letdown but otherwise super accommodation. Loads of tapas places nearby. The 360 degree view on the 11th floor was nice as well. The taxi to the airport was 22 euros but there's an additional charge of 7 euros or so for the airport.

“Loved it!”

The Barcelo Raval is a superb hotel. Staff are very friendly and the rooms are fantastic. We upgraded to a suite, and were very impressed. The views from the room are spectacular, and the roof top terrace and pool area were a beautiful spot to enjoy cocktails at sunset before heading off into town. The pool is quite small, and very close to seating so it's more for show than swimming. Decor throughout is trendy, and the vibe is cool and laid back. The surrounding area leaves a lot of be desired so you should look after your personal possesions, as locals were keen to remind us. It can be busy on the square late at night, but we didn't see any trouble.

“Good value and central location”

Since the hotel was very new, we didnt find many reviews before we booked the hotel. But we were pleasantly surprised at the quality and comfort of the hotel. The location of the hotel was very convenient, though not a great area for late night strolls. One added benefit for us was that there were several Indian restaurants around the hotel. We were happy with the service as well, including the complimentary internet. Cofee and showers were awesome. Hotel was very modern and funky. Rooftop was nice for city views, though the pool is nothing to talk about. I would rather they had a hot tub there.
