Good breakfast, nice pool area. Staff has to work on a "customer-first" attitude. The hotel is a bit of a walk to shops and restaurants and feels a bit too remote off season. There was also a building site next door. It's worth booking mountain view for a better experience.

Completely stylishly renovated! You have a feeling like you are in brand new hotel. Everything was perfect as before, from staff, extremely comfortable bed and pillows, spa, massage, big variety for breakfast...

Rooms and hotel are clean.
Breakfast i
Has lots of options but 'hot' options are cold.
Had leaking sink for 2 days and did not get fixed.
We liked our stay at this hotel, the sauna facilities were very nice (although during low season not everything was open). The staff was friendly and the rooms are clean.
This is our fourth time to stay in this hotel, but first during summer. Everything was perfect as always, stuff is always friendly, beautiful spa and massages, the outdoor pool was great. Perfect hotel for families, either during the winter or during the summer.
Every yeat we stay at Regnum hotel and it is always perfect. They have made renovation of the main hall and it looks beautiful. Since we always book family apartment with kitchen, there are plates, glasses but never any dishes to make food - sinple soup or pasta.
Great hotel with very good rooms. Nice SPA but missing outside tub/pool in winter. Good breakfast. A bit too far in my opinion from the gondola/city to walk but may be ok for others. Good shutle service
Hotel people are very professional and helpful, speak good English. Spa is good clean and comfortable. Food is ok. You can always park a car in front of the hotel. The only downside is that sofa bed is not comfortable. Overall I would rate it very good.

Well, its not really a 5 star hotel at least for European standards. However, there is everything you need, and the staff is nice and polite. The beds were comfortable and the room was cleaned every day.
The food in breakfast was quite plain and tasteless.

Not deserve the money
The hotel location is 10 minutes walking to the Main Street and gondola entrance. The hotel is like a maze. We need to walk and climb steps to reach the room. The spa was good. The jacuzzi temperature is now warm enough. The breakfast was fine.
Very nice but ... bring your own cooking utensils!
Overall excellent. My only complaint was that although our 2-bed apartment had a kitchenette, no cooking items (e.g. pot, kettle) were provided. Apparently because we had not requested them at the time we booked.

it was alright.
hotel was ok, wouldn't give 5 star as the bed and pillows ware very uncomfortable.
and the stuff didn't know what they were doing at one point the lady in the reception wanted to charge me 5 Euros per day for parking even though it comes free with my booking.
so for me 3 stars.
regnum bansko not five star hotels maximum 3 star hotels
hotel employee not proffessional also not smile and not polite of guest.very poor breakfast ,my oppinion for this hotel very bad and l will never come again this hotel.please every one, dont choise this hotel.
The studio room is a good size with a modern feel. It is clean and comes with its own hot water tank that lasts about 25mins before it needs to reheat. The pool is very nice when not busy but there is a charge for the outside jacuzzi which is a shame. It takes about 10mins to walk to the gondola station or the same time to walk to the top of town. The surrounding area is a building site but that didn't affect our stay in March 2013. On reflection is seems like its one of the newest places to stay and although some staff have a poor grasp of english, their attention to detail is excellent.

The room was hot and didn’t have AC… only living room had the AC which wasn’t enough.
The outside pool was too busy, and the bar/restaurant didn’t have enough staff… dirty tables, and the food was late. 2 same pastas for the kids were served 20 mins apart, wrong salad, and forgotten French fries . Hire more people

Could be so much better
We had booked an Executive room, with half board. The room is big, certainly, separate lounge and bedroom. It was all very dated and stale, and felt rather downmarket, not 'executive'. There was not enough sockets for charging. The bathroom was way too small with insufficient space for storing toothbrush and so on for 2 guests. The included food was dreary, a tired, stale buffet dinner and really poor quality breakfast selection, with no espresso, only Nescafe! On the upside, plenty of parking, the staff were friendly, the wifi worked well, the swimming pool and jacuzzi were fun, and the bar happy hour was great.
We booked this hotel which advertised itself as a 4* hotel, recently upgraded to 5. Upon arriving early, we were hassled about wanting to check our luggage in the luggage room. Then, when I asked about a safety deposit box for our valuables I was told there was not one (even though I later discovered there was one). After a day of skiing, we decided to use our "fully-stocked" kitchenette and bought food to cook for dinner. Upon returning to our room, we discovered that there were no pots and pans. After waiting an hour and a half, one was finally delivered. Additionally, there was no corkscrew in the room and we had to go back down to the bar to have our wine opened. Then we tried to log onto the internet that we had to pay for, only to find out there were problems with the network. On top of all of this, they had advertised that there were ski lockers on the lower ground floor but when we tried to use it at check-out to hold our stuff while skiing we were told the key for all of the lockers had gone missing. We then were forced to put our luggage back in the somewhat secure luggage room where we had to wait 30 minutes upon return for the bellboy with the key to the room (the other bellboy for some reason did not have a key) to retrieve our items. It was a comedy of errors from the start and I don't even think the hotel deserves a 4 star rating let alone the new 5 star rating it is advertising.

Disliked: Cleanliness, room comfort
Awful: no sleep, bad service, dirty towels...
No point ranting, instead here’s a simple list of some of the misery of staying at the Regnum:
Curtains don’t cover window
Unbearably hot throughout hotel; Excuse: “it’s a bit warm for usual winter”
Ski depot locked past lift opening time; even after complaining no one came for another 15mins
Noise and VERY thin walls, unable to sleep despite staying in one of the more expensive suites
Towels put back from another bathroom so don’t know who’s is who’s. Dirty ones picked up from floor and put back, mud and all. Sheet change request card picked off bed and put back with sheets not changed
Dinner marked without gluten on menu showed up with piles of bread, waiter said just don’t eat the bread! Manager promised no charge but on receipt anyway, when challenged it we were battled by the waiter!
Kettle didn’t work
Misdirected to spa three times, incl one who walked me to the basement (ski depot) realised she had made a mistake so just ran off
Breakfast starts at 7, lots of stuff not set out until 7.30 or at all. Different every day.
Kitchen with no pans!
No bin in rooms
No phone in bedrooms
No resupply on tea/coffee
Safe - no instructions. Bell boy came to show how to use but showed us wrong
Sofa bed dangerously broken - rusted chunk of metal fell off on assembly
Housekeeping threw random things of ours away but not the rubbish, left washing up to dry still smeared with food
Key cards stopped working over and over
