Please note: Upon arrival at the airport, Arrival Hall on 2nd Floor at the Gate 4, a Thong Ta Resort and Spa staff will be waiting with a sign to assist with transfers. If staff is unavailable, please contact hotel via airport information desk using the number provided in the booking confirmation.
Airport transfers are available 24 hours a day and are 150 baht per way (3 person maximum). Please provide hotel with flight number and arrival time and pay hotel directly.

“Nice Place”

Overall, Thong Ta is a nice place to stay, especially for short visits/transiting through Bangkok. Rooms are clean and comfortable; many sidewalk restaurants and pubs are walking distance (there's a new food court at entry of alley to Thong Ta); public transportation is close; airport is only 7 minutes by shuttle. The resort also has terrific massage service (great for after those 6+ hour flights!), and the complimentary breakfast is simple but good. I'm already booked for additional stays, and will stay at Thong Ta on most trips through BKK. Well worth the price!!!

“Budget Hotel Convenient to BKK”

I needed a hotel very close to BKK airport as a stopover for an early morning flight, and this hotel served that purpose. The hotel is clean, the beds are very hard and uncomfortable. My rate included transportation to the hotel which was very helpful since the hotel is not in a good area and was a little confusing to get to. Overall, if you need a budget hotel that's convenient to the airport, then this is an OK hotel.

“Safe and Comfortable for a woman.”

I have stayed at Thong Ta many times before. I feel safe and comfortable at this hotel, espacially when I travel by my self whice is quite often, the airport shuttle sevices is so convenience and included. The hotel repersentative is there when you are arrive at door 2.( just ask any other hotel rep for Thong Ta hotel), they are all very very helpful. It's a good hotel to stay for laying over night to catch the flight on the next day. The staffs are also nice and helpful.

“comfortable place”

i used this hotel twice while flying into and out of Bangkok. The pickup and drop off service for the airport worked out great. The rooms were large and clean and comfortable with great aircon and hot showers. The staff was very friendly and helpful. While there is not much to see in the vicinity of the hotel, there are several great local restaurants with open air seating that serve great food. Just down the street from the hotel across the road is one such place among several where I had delicious charcoal cooked whole fish, shrimps, and clams and a wonderful red seafood curry for just a few dollars. From now on, I will always stay at this hotel when I fly in and out of Bangkook.

“relaxing!”

I may have written a review of this hotel before; so only thing I can add is that the 'relaxation massage' is well worth the price -- which wasn't very expensive(and it's a real massage, with a real masseuse, so keep your thoughts clean!) The rooms in the high-rise are a little larger, more comfortable than the ones in the original building, the bed was a little softer, and the water heater gave a little more hot water in the shower. Definitely a place to stay for a nice relaxing night, or week!

“Good value”

This is an airport hotel near the Bangkok airport, 10-minutes free shuttle. No elevator so must carry bags to your room (4 floors). Ask for first or second floor room. Breakfast is free and ok but not plentiful. Desk staff not particularly friendly or helpful. Be sure to book on line (Expedia) as hotel rack rates are higher. Good value but not luxurious by any means.

“Good for transit stay”

I've stayed at Thong Ta a couple times. It is pleasant, quiet, close to airport, inexpensive....a very good place to stay if you are transiting through BKK and need somewhere for overnight, but is also a nice place for a stay of several days. The beds are a bit stiffer than I like, but not uncomfortable. Breakfast is simple, filling, decent taste. Walking distance to several sidewalk cafe's and bars, some with live music, most with good food (if all else fails, convenience store is at the end of the alley). The only real downside is the distance to 'downtown' Bangkok, but if you are only transiting through that doesn't matter. The hotel 'tower' is about 2 years old, the rooms are a bit nicer than the original ground-floor resort/hotel.

Airport area.......Bang Na......Sukhumvit/Silom Road

Getting around

If you're adventurous, take the local transit system (bus/elevated trains) and go with no plans. If you want to get from point A to point B quickly, taxi's are inexpensive and fast (just close your eyes and hold your breath...lol!). If you want to see more of the city close-up, and be able to stop and go on a whim, hire a tuk-tuk for a ride, for a couple hours, or for the day.

What to pack

Travelling to Thailand....pack light, lightweight 'breathable' clothing, or just bring very little and buy what you need. There are plenty of stores, malls, shops throughout the city to pick up 'whatever.'

“Excellent airport hotel”

Just what an airport should be - nice and close to the airport and with a shuttle service that feels totally reliable. Very clean, spacious, comfortable room and the area has quite a pleasant feel to it too.
