“I was satisfied”
I stayed at this hotel six nights. I liked my stay. I enjoyed my breakfast and after that I could go and visit the sights which were not far away. I could also go to nearest Bo Market which was good and cheap. I liked also the swiiming pool. Unfortunately the wifi internet was not free which should be. Also other facilities were not cheap and I avoided them. Generally I would like to stay at this hotel with the very friendly personell when I am in Bangkok again.
“Expensive hotel and not convenient”
Staff are friendly but the place is still expensive considering the location. The bathroom curtain had molds and had a dirty plastic rug for the tub. Don't use the laundry service, the hotel charge per piece and not by kilo. My cousin used this service and ended paying about$150 for about 3 kilos of clothes. If you are traveling south, just wait till u get there. You can find places that does it for 30baht per kilo. Food by the pool side is expensive and not worth for what u paid for. Breakfast is not bad at all. We paid 300 baht for a buffet style. The hotel is surrounded by vendors who sells clothes, food and other things. Do your comparison shopping here.Again, just wait till you travel south, way cheaper. Although the staff is really friendly and polite, they weren't as resourceful. We stayed at an airport hotel that cost about $30 a night and it was cleaner than this hotel. The cab drivers will also take you to places that are not too cheap. So be aware and be precise with how much you want to pay.
“Pregnant wife and a 2 year old”
This hotel is in a terrible location if you have young kids - ie, it's too far away from the parks and the surrounding neighbourhood is a nightmare to walk around. However - if you don't have kids it's perfect. right in the middle of shopping precint, khoa san rd and the palace.
“Overall a not a bad hotel but would like to try others”
At first, upon arrival I was not impressed with the hotel due to it's surroundings. The rooms were not impressive but was clean and comfortable. One thing I do have to mention is the toilet flushes were extremely loud and noisy due to use of high pressure commercial toilets and uninsulated walls. It woke me up a few times. The views though were awesome being in the 29th floor with a corner unit and 2 sides of mostly unobstructed views to enjoy. The included breakfast was very good and the staff were very helpful, pleasant and accomodating. The Housekeeping experience was very pleasant as well as they never intruded or disturbed us. They have a great system in knowing if you were in the room or not without ever having to knock on the door. The hotel restaurants, house cabs and internet access were expensive. I was impressed with the beautiful pool / bar areas with city views as a backdrop. The Bobae mall connected to the hotel was very convienient. Great for complete casual clothes buying. Not the lowest prices in town but still low priced. Selections were endless. Most vendors were wholesalers so most were not will to bargain the prices. Overall the hotel was pleasant and the price was a deal but after seeing many other hotels in Bangkok I would like to try higher end hotels in better areas even at slightly higher prices. I would recommend this hotel to the budget minded traveler. Just be prepared to make frequent taxi trips for inexpensive neccessities.
“bil goes back to the prince of palace, great place, greater people”
a lovely lush destination, a truly special place in an extreme urban environment, safe, friendly and very thai.
“cass”
Staffs are nice. The suite rooms are well maintain. Location is good despite no direct access to BTS. boat ride cost 10 baht to nearest BTS.
“Inexpensive comfortable place to stay”
Hotel was a great place to spend a few days in Bangkok. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. There are plenty of food options at the hotel and multiple pools which were a nice break in the evening. Hotel staff was very helpful in answering our questions and helping us get around. Location is easy for local taxi drivers and the hotel is well known.

Beautiful ,look like stay in palace. Is true.
“Great view”
We stayed in an executive suit on the 25th floor. This provided a wonderful view and zero street noise. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was not great, but it was good enough. The swimming pool was delightful. The hotel is centrally located between Khao San Rd and Siam Center. There is a river taxi right next to the hotel that you can take to Siam center, Jim Thompson's house or a BTS station for only 9 baht. Khao San Rd and the surrounding temples are a cheap taxi ride away (make sure you get a taxi with a meter and avoid using the hotel's taxi service). There is a large wholesale clothing market under the hotel. I was able to buy a bunch of large t-shirts for 80 baht each. The only catch is that you must buy in bulk. For some shops, this means 6 pieces, for others, it means 10 or 12. The one thing we avoided at the hotel was the bar and restaurants (except for the provided breakfast). There is a lovely little bar next to the pool, only catch is, the prices are extremely high. A bit ridiculous actually. Although it would have been nice to enjoy a beer poolside, the 300 baht price tag just wasn't worth it. We opted for Khao San road's night life, had a great time, then an easy 60 baht taxi ride back to the hotel. All in all, I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I would both stay here again and recomend it to friends.
“Great Hotel, would stay there again”
Prince Palace is in the old part of Bangkok, which we liked as we were away from the tourist sections and gave us a chance t see the real Bangkok. We liked the river taxi that was out the back of the hotel great if your going to Siam Square, only a 10min trip. Hotel was very clean and the staff were more than friendly. Area out by both pools was great from relaxing. One negative was we had a 2 bedroom suite which had a small kitchenette, but did not have any provisions of any kind in there. We would definately recommend this hotel to friends and family. We would go back to this hotel again.
