“One of the best”

Attracted to the Lebua because of the skybar on the 64th floor. The sky bar was magnificient but so was the rest of the hotel. Starting with a great breakfast and throughout our stay of four nights the staff were consistenly attentive and friendly. Next time we are in Bangkok we will be staying at the Lebua.

“Big rooms, great breakfast buffet”

Good hotel. The rooms are very big and the breakfast buffet is amazing. Also worth a visit to the skybar on the top floor for great views of Bangkok. We had no problems staying here, though the location may not be perfect for some depending on what you plan to do in Bangkok given the spread-out nature of the city.

“Beyond Expectations”

Nice from start to finish and the level of comfort, services and breakfast make the lebua excllent value for money. The room had afabulous view and it was great to watch thunderstorms and passing clouds, so far above the ustle of Bangkok's streets. We loved the expresso coffee machine and toileteries. The room is huge and so was the bed. My only complaint would be that there is no TV in the sitting room and that can hardly be a complaint can it? The outside areas are stunning. The pool and sauna are great and the breakfast is remarkable. An excellent hotel. We will stay here again.

“Great hotel, beautiful service, not great for kids”

I stayed here on a 24 hour stopover with my 18 month old son. I was delighted to be upgraded to an amazing amazing amazing suite with jaw dropping views over the river. The quaity of the hotel and room fitout, plus the service of the staff really made it feel 5 star. My connecting flight didnt leave until midnight and I was allowed a (free) late check out until 2pm, with use of the hotel facilities until departure. However after relinquishing the room, I found it hard to entertain my son, despite the beautiful hospitality of the staff. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was bc of the rooftop bar and restaurant facilities but under 14s are not allowed - not even infants asleep in their prams! There is only one 'family' lounge/restaurant area and it is right beside the pool, which makes it a bit exhausting for parents of toddlers. In hindsight, I would have preferred one of the other resorts with a garden area - you really need an oasis from the bangkok craziness with a toddler. But overall, hotel was awesome and I would totally reccommend it to adults travelling alone or with kids over 14. Outstanding value for money.

“Would definately stay there again”

First visit to Thailand, Bangkok was our first stop. We were very satisifed with our stay at Lebua. Staff were sooo friendly and the rooms were extremely clean. We would definately stay here again. It was far from the floating market, but very convenient to patpong night market, siam paragon mall, central world, platinum mall and pratunum market.

“Gem in the middle of a big city”

Enjoyed dinner at Sirocco even thought it was a bit drizzly staff provided umbrellas for us part way into the meal. Use extreme caution when leaving the hotel and walk to any public transit. People were watching us and then we believe this guy tried to pick pocket my brother - After bumping into him he then tried to be extremely friendly enquiring as to where exactly we were going etc. Riding the BTS (Light Rail) was a great option to getting to the MBK (Shopping areas) we felt safe and it was really clean. Hotel staff was accommodating and allowed us to shower at 6:00pm in the fitness area after we had already checked out in the morning.

“Great for city views at night”

Stayed at lebua for 2 nights...entrance is lovely although seems quite small for the size of hotel...plenty of staff at every turn in all of hotel directing guests or fielding questions. The restaraunts in hotel are all beautiful and have the best views you have ever seen...prices on the VERY high side but quality & service is what you would expect at this level. An option is to just go to one of the bars Ocean 52 or the famous Skybar...I can definately say it is worth the price of a drink for the most unbelievable outlook you have ever seen. Definately somewhere I would liek to come to again and a million miles away from the frantic dirty hussle of bangkok streets. All the bars and restaraunts have a dress code but I think this just adds to the experience as everyone looks good too!

Not far from all the major sites & shopping...good views of the river and city from rooms

“What a view”

We only stayed one night in a Tower Suite on the 58th floor with a balcony overlooking the river and part of the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was terrific with everything you could possibly want. It has an open air restaurant on the 63rd floor (not open during our visit due to rain) but we managed a few drinks on the 64th floor bar which was a bit expensive but you paid for the location and the view. Would definitely consider stopping there again.

Getting there
I think the best way to get from Bangkok Airport to the city is the rail link. It is easy, fast and cheap. You can get the Airport Express to Makassan Station which takes 15 minutes or the City Link to Phaya Thai Station which stops at a few stations but still takes only 27 minutes.

“Excellent Experience!”

I would definitely recommend this hotel to people visiting Bangkok. The price was extremely affordable and the room was huge and kept crisp clean by the hotel housekeeping service. Actually,
