“POSITIVE”
GREAT STAY, HAS A LOT OF FUN. REALLY THE STAY WAS GOOD, VERY NICE SERVICE.
“The Calming Conrad”
This hotel is located in a great area. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and clean. The pool is spectacular. More importantly, the staff is helpful, nice, and friendly. Whatever your needs are the Conrad has it.
“The Little Things (like an elephant)”
Great experience! The room was very clean with modern amenities - beautiful tub for a soak; wonderful shower with optional elephant shower head for the ultimate dousing; very comfortable bed. There was a complimentary fruit bowl and silk elephant. When I asked the front desk where we could purchase another elephant, they sent another one up to our room; compliments of the house! There is a free shuttle bus that goes from the hotel to the sky train station so you don't have to hoof it in the heat. If you choose to walk to the station, it is a straight shot from the hotel and not too far. There is a mini-shopping area in the same building on the first 3 floors. There are restaurants, pharmacies, a grocery store, florist, clothing shops, etc. Very convenient! There is a little plaza with good eats on Ruam Rudee (road on the back side of the hotel) just next door to the hotel - ask the front desk. Great stay!
“Great Hotel, bad location”
The Hotel is great, all that you could want and more but the location is not that good. The problem is that the traffic is awful in this city and it took two hours from the airport to the hotel (rush hour). Without traffic, like at 5am its fine but otherwise I would stay away from Bangkok altogether. For our last night I booked us into the best western near the airport. Its half the price and it will save you a lot of grief!! We spent three nights at the hotel and it was difficult to get anywhere during the day. The taxis would not take us to the tourist areas due to the traffic. To be fair all of Bangkok is gridlocked with traffic and I would say avoid and go to Chaing Mai which is a mini version of Bangkok
“Would stay there every visit to Bangkok”
Great Hotel and extremely well run. This is difinately my favorite hotel in Bangkok so far.
“Bangkok's best hotel”
Great service, good location, very nice smimming pool and fitness center.I suggest you the executive's floors room, where you have dedicated services (check in, breakfast, tea time, happy hour, internet connection....) all complimentary. for those zou like a late drink, you can enjoy it in the 89club (one of the city's best club), with live music.
“Superior quality of the hotel and performance of the staff!”
Extremely satisfied!
“5 star stay”
The concierge was very helpful in booking flights and gave us suggestions in our attempt to travel to Vietnam. We tried the room service and ordered thai food which was also excellent.
“Couldn't fault it”
The Conrad is just a very good all round Hotel. Nothing particually stood out, but i saw it as a very reliable Hotel where you got what you expected and it was done consistently well. The room was a good size and had everything there and it all worked well, the service was what you would expect from professional staff of a corporate 5* Hotel, the pool was nice to relax by and a good size. All in all i thought this was a good Hotel and couldn't fault it. Sure if you want to be blown away pay more for somewhere like the Peninsula, but if you want a high standard of service and comfort done consistently well, then you can't go wrong.
“Excellent Service and accomodation”
Well connected via Shuttle bus to sky train that gices good access to Bangkok attractions and shopping. Nearest skytrain station is in any case a short walk from the hotel
