“Great location--- comfortable stay”

Romm was spacious and comfortable. Great view of river and city. Next to Skytrain Silom line AND Riverboat so transport for sight seeing is ultra convenient. Was like a home away from home at great value price.

Area recommendations

Spend at least a week. Explore the river, Chinatown and Sukhumvit St, best British Pub "The Londoner" on Soi 33.

“Position, Position & Position”

These are serviced appartmentsa which are well positioned for transport via the river or BTS. Pricing is a little on the high side and overall the building will need some minor paint touch ups going forward. Rooms are excellant in size with both cooking and washing facilities (if you would need them on holidays) Each unit has a balconey, mainly for the smoker as no outdoor furniture is supplied. Bathrooms have separate shower and bath. We stayed in a studio unit however we did inspect a 2 bedroom apartment which was very large with 3 bathrooms and ideal for two couples or a family. In house restaurant serves excellant good value meals as well as doing the breakfasts. Pool area is private and a goodsize, well equiped gym and small library on site. Very helpful front counter staff and security appears first rate. They charge for internet facilities which is unreasonable We liked staying in this area as you can go in and out of the peak tourist locations via public transport quickly and at you leisure whist being part of the local scene. Access from airport 25 minutes and easy as just off one of the expressways cost 450 baht In the complex there is a supermarket (basement) and 3 floors of Robinsons Department store which has direct access from hotel. Minor point in Thailand acohol is only able to be purchased after 5pm, so stock up. Another bonus is that each appartment has a full size fridge freezer with ice making facilities.

“Great Service!”

The Service was exceptional! The pool looked very relaxing, however, while we were there, the pool was under maintenance! The room was a home away from home. It had all the amenities for a long stay. Very satisfied!

“Great location, helpful staff”

The hotel is very good, great location, spacious room, nice staff. We checked in at midnight. They dont have river view studio anymore. But the city-view room is satisfactory, spacious, clean, devices are new and well branded. The breakfast buffet offers a wide range of foods, and very delicious. The staff were super helpful, they helped carry our heavy luggages, and walked out of the alley to call cab for us. Will absolutely stay here next time in Bangkok !!

Getting around

At the pier near the hotel, notice that they actually sell the one-way ferry trip to the grand palace at 25B. Be cautious that the staff at the pier try to sell the 150B one-day pass.

“Very nice hotel”

The hotel, staff and amenities are worth far more than the the cost of the room a night (dual occupancy). Centrally located to a long tail boat pier for traveling up and down the Chaprea (sp?), khlongs, and business district which several nice restaurants are located.

“Can't wait to go back”

The hotel was very comfortable and immaculately clean at all times. The only flaw that I encountered was the fact there was no instruction for operating the washing machine or the microwave. This was easily overcome by simply asking the front counter staff (the room staff did not speak English) who then issued instructions for the room staff to put the washing machine on. Otherwise, the hotel was more than adequate in every way

Traveller's tip

Tuk tuk drivers are having a tough time and i think they think all westerners are rich (and comparatively maybe we are but I found it much cheaper and a lot more comfortable to simply take a metered taxi everywhere I went. There was no problem with overcharging or being dropped off the various sponsor's businesses and having to suffer the pressure selling which goes on there especially the jewellery stores.
