“Good place to stay in Banff”
Hotel is older but the rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. If you want inexpensive stay while in Banff this is the place. The hot tub is in the main building so if you stay in Swiss Village you have to go walk outside to get to the main hotel where the hottub is on a cold day that was not alot of fun. The only place I would not recommend is the restaurant we did not have a good experience there. You have to try the hottub that is on the roof of the hotel. The best view of the mountains and at night if the stars are out it is incredible
“Room, hot pool, view, staff & breakfast great”
My boyfriend & I stayed at this hotel and it was great. We got an upgrade for much cheapness per night on arrival to a room with a mountain view which was beautiful. The room itself was very clean and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was cheap and nice. The outside hot pool is very relaxing and we never found it to busy there. Was great after a days walking/biking. The hotel also gives you a free pass for the roam buses which shuttle up and down the street until late which we thought was great! The only downfall was the lobbies etc which although were by no way filthy were a bit dirty/worn. Would recommend this hotel to anybody who wants a nice, comfortable stay and is happy so longs as service & their room is perfect!
“Impressed - GREAT value for the price”
Great value hotel. Clean, quiet, way more than expected for price.
“Affordable hotel with everything you need”
My boyfriend and I are in our early thirties and stayed here for a few days while visiting Banff. The hotel was clean and spacious, they offered free internet and free parking for a very reasonable rate. Not to mention the awesome rooftop heated pool! The location is maybe a 10 minute walk from the village, but it was actually nice to have that walk back and forth to enjoy the scenery all around us and we rented bikes for just $5.00 an hour when we wanted to travel a bit farther. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel for those traveling on a budget, but still looking for comfort and quality in their accommodations.
“Great Mountain Experience”
The hotel was extremely easy to find, as it was the first one you hit when you come into Banff. The front desk personnel were extremely friendly and very helpful with directions to the various sites around town. After enjoying a good night's sleep, we were pampered with an excellent breakfast in the hotel's restaurant. We were going to do some serious shopping around town the next morning, even though we were checking out we were told that we could leave our vehicle there in a certain area of fhe hotel for the day while we enjoyed browsing around town and shopping up a storm, as ladies love to do. This was what I would call excellent, individual service, all with a smile. Thank you for the great hospitality you showed us, this just added to the spectacular time we had in Banff.
“Great stay!”
Perfect for a fairly priced stay with a great view!!
“Inns of Banff”
Great place to stay. We arrived late in the evening (10pm) and the room was ready and waiting. Access from the parking lot was a long walk, but that's the price you pay for getting in so late. The room was quiet being at the end of the hall. The next morning, around 8AM, the power went out and was not restored before we left around 9AM. Try packing up your belongings in the dark on a rainy morning - the room was very dark without any backup lights in the room. The Front Desk had no battery backup system, so check out was done on paper. Anyone with extra charges on their account were to be billed later, so you didn't know your final cost on check out. Personally, I think that's a poor way of doing things and that the company should invest the money in establishing a battery backup system for the front desk (at a minimum).
“Great place to stay”
beautiful view, quiet short walk to DT
“excellent location”
Inns of Banff was in a beautiful location, the staff and service was superb, everthing there you needed to make your holiday special. We were in the swiss village which is across the car park, but was not a problem, the rooms were cleaned and serviced everyday. For the money we paid I was very impressed as had read other reviews that were not so good, so did go with some reservations, but was pleasantly surprised. We had a fantastic holiday of a lifetime.
“big hotel and closed downtown of banff”
big and several big units on one srea. It is closed to downtown of banff. It's good price for room. It was quite a night time and fresh air.
