"This is a really lovely place to stay. The bungalow was excellent, as was the pool. The lady on reception, On, was so helpful - she even took us to the van station when we left. We would definitely recommend the hotel. It is a 30 minute walk to the main town beach area, so we hired bicycles, scooters would have been even more use for exploring. Ao Manao beach is fabulous."

"The Good the Bad and the Ugly....😃😫😡 The Good....Check in was easy and fast and Oancake was very friendly and accommodating. The bathroom was nice with tiles throughout and new fixtures. The Bad...the room was NOT what I booked..it was much smaller that what it stated on the web site 240 sq ft to 430 sq ft. It did not have a table or chair like it said...Pancake have a folding table and metal lawn chair. No hangers to hang my clothes... no night tables for clothes. The Ugly...TV did...

"I enjoyed my stay at Mont Talay. It is in a great location with a clear view of beach and sea. It is walkable everywhere in Prachuap. The room is basic but it is a great price & has adequate provisions for a short stay. Could do with some refreshing & renovations. Overall, I would recommend if you want a cheap place to stay in an ideal location & don't have high expectations of room amenities. "

"The hotel is by the beach, which is why we booked it. The beach itself is not swimmable but that was expected. The problem is that nothing was well maintained. The pool bed were very dirty and couldn’t be used. We used the pool and couldn’t lay down as the mattresses were very dirty. It’s a pity as the hotel has potential. It just needs a lot better maintenance."

"We arrived around 9 pm and were welcome by calm and quietness. Room and bathroom was clean. Had a little patio. Very quiet at night- air con worked well! Pillow were comfortable however bed was extremely hard and could feel the springs of the mattress but found out in the morning that the other side of the bed was more padded- hopefully not all mattresses are like that here! "
