I needed a 2 b.r. apartment to accommodate my handicapped son for a short stay. Grandview had all that we could wish for. Very clean, large rooms, lots of natural light, fully equipped, under cover parking, swimming pool and a view to top it all off.

Beautiful apartment, nice view, bathroom could have done with a bit more of a clean, but good overall. Nice extras in the apartment like coffee pod machine, large smart TV in lounge, TV in bedroom, BBQ. Friends in another apartment didn't have those things though. Very happy with our stay.

Really happy with the accommodation the pictures were exactly as the apartment looked. The Kitchen was well stocked with all the pots and pans. The Roof Deck was amazing.

Beautiful spacious unit
The Grandview Apartments are very spacious and comfortable with beautiful ocean views. Management were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. I would definitely stay here again.

It looks like the apartments in this hotel are privately owned. The one we 'lucked' was cluttered with old, shabby furniture, stuffed full of the owners junk (including presumably confidential consulting records). Paint was peeling off the bathroom ceiling and the (only) bed was a overly hard double (not even a queen). Perhaps some of the apartments are well furnished and maintained - but I wouldn't chance it again .... . The hotel is within walking distance of a couple of good beaches, but nothing else .... . If you really want to stay in Ballina, try the south-side of the river.

Yes, these apartments are individually owned and this is not a Hotel. Furnishings vary from Apartment to Apartment, however you would have to go looking for personal documents. Thanks for the feedback on that, we will get some locks installed so the cabinets can’t be accessed. Sorry this decor was not to your liking, had you let us know when you were here, we could have attempted to meet your expectations. And yes, if you want to be close to town, there are closer options however then you are away from the beautiful beaches you mentioned - not sure what you were looking for in your stay? Perhaps a quick look at the location of our Apartments would have given you accurate expectations.

Lovely spacious apartment
Very pleasant to have plenty of space compared to a hotel room. TV has subtitles which is very much appreciated for the hard of hearing. The beach is only a five minute walk away. It has a 'full' kitchen so can make a proper meal. Laundry has a washing machine and drier.

Apartment was spacious well laid out with ocean and river views. Some crockery, bins and floors were not clean. We had one noisy mid week night .. may have been neighbors. Close to beaches, cafes and great walks.

Nice unit,plenty of room,good location.
Stayed in Ballina for four nights,beautiful place,beaches everywhere,fantastic scenery!Had a few dinners at the RSL,very friendly staff there and the meals were excellent. Richmond River runs through the town,water everywhere,very nice!

A nice place but a bit worn, close to the beaches. Nice and spacious but the dryer didn't work. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Every unit is individually owned and most have been renovated recently. Come back and try another unit, I'm sure you will like it.

We had pleasant stay at Grand View Apartment, Rooms were nice and clean with good day light in both the rooms, beautiful ocean view from the rooms and balcony. Peter and Kathy were very keen and helped us to plan our activities on arrival.

I was so impressed with the service we received from Lorraine Firstly she rang us on the morning we were to check in to ask us what time they could expect us. As we arrived in Ballina early we ask her what time we could check in as we were filling in time until then and we told her that as it was only 10.30am. She said she would ring us when room was ready. Half an hour later she rang and said our room was ready for us and we could book in when we were ready. What service.On arrival we were meet with such a friendly welcome from Lorraine that it felt like home. She said we have a nice apartment to stay in . Well she was right it was beautiful( room 306). Recommend to anyone who wants a great place to stay in Ballina

Three adults stop -off on journey along Gold coast
Building manager was extremely helpful in arranging and preparing this magnificent upper floor apartment with wonderful views of the ocean. Great kitchen with all cooking facilities which was essential without the normal bar or restaurants you would get with a hotel.Easy parking with a secure under building car park. On outskirts of town so need car for eating out. Wish we had booked longer stay than the 2 nights!!

Great location near beach
We stayed here for a long weekend recently and thoroughly enjoyed staying in an apartment with spectacular views. Nice and friendly welcome when I arrived. Would recommend if happy to be a little distance from town but close to a couple of really nice cafes, swimming and patrolled beaches.

Ballina
We travelled to Ballina for medical reasons. This apartment was in close proximity to all doctors surgeries. We found the apartment to be clean, tidy & comfortable. It was within walking distance to beach, parks & cafes and about a 5 min drive to the main street of Ballina and about 15 min drive to larger shopping center. We found Peter & his wife (manager) very friendly and gave us some tips on markets etc in the area. We would have no hesitation in recommending these apartments.
