“Will Be Back!”

This was a fantastic choice for me. It's a short walk to main road and Bintang Supermarket (5 mins max) there is also a supermarket just out front of hotel. Its far enough away to be quite and little noise and perfect sleep every night even on the ground floor. Pool and sun baking area were second to none and it was just amazing a location for the sunset every night. This is a must stay hotel if you want the 5 star treatment for a reasonable price. The only down point I would have to make is that the showers in the room are lacking any preasure, but such a minor thing its not really a bother to live with for a week or two. I say don't think twice just book this hotel!

“Great Hotel”

I just got back from 5 nights in Bali at the Royal Beach in Seminyak. The service was excellent and the location was great. Every staff member was friendly, polite and very willing to help. We actually got a free upgrade on our room which was a nice surprise. We ended up in a grand delux room that was very spacious. Lovely pool, bar and eating area right on the beach. There is also the garden pool that is a bit quieter than the pool down on the beach. Food was good however we ate out quite a lot. You can get a hotel taxi to most areas near seminyak for 25,000 rupiah (about $3). We also walked from the hotel along the beach to Legian one night on sunset and up to Ku Da Ta one day. We also went to Potato Head on night for the sunset. It was busy but we stayed and had a meal and the food was great! Intresting engineering structure too. I would come back at this hotel and recommend it to others. It was great!

Area recommendations

Seminyak is much nicer than Legian or Kuta. We spent 2 hours in Kuta and that was enough! Seminyak isn't particularly cheap but it has some nice shops and places to eat. We did a day trip to Ubud which was worthwhile.

“Paradise In Seminyak”

We have stayed here four times and love it!. The hotel may be full but you rarely see any other guests. The peace and serenity is so relaxing, the pools refreshing and the staff cannot be faulted. We especially like the proximity to the beach and Seminyak shops, whilst maintaining seclusion and privacy. Well done Royal Beach.

“A Nice Hotel”

This hotel is very pretty and the staff was courteous and professional. Breakfast was awesome, and lunch at the pool was great. Bring plenty of sunscreen and bug-spray. Have fun and take lots of pictures.

Area recommendations

Seminyak Square & Kuta Square are great for shopping. Plenty of cheap shops, nice malls, and tattoo parlors.

“Lovely hotel in great location”

This is the 2nd time we have stayed in this hotel and once agin we were upgraded to a lovely room. They supplied a birthday cake for my boyfriends birthday as a surprise . Lovely rooms, staff and pool area . Sand in front of hotel is a bit dirty but this is not the fault of the hotel Food and drinks are expensive if you eat at the hotel

Area recommendations

For shopping Seminyak is fantastic. Ku De Ta is a great resturant even if expensive. A trip to Nusa Lembogan is a lovely way to spend a few days away from the main land and much cheaper

“Needs some TLC”

The Royal Beach Seminyak is in a fantastic location - right on the beach - and walking distance to local shops and restaurants. We found the prices of shopping in this area much cheaper than other parts of Seminyak. We were upgraded to a fantastic villa and first impressions were blown away by all the amenities and the accommodation itself. However upon staying - it's all very tired and in need of a good renovation and repair work. Quite tired. And whilst we had a butler service included - the only time we saw him was when we checked into the room - and we couldn't get hold of him when we needed him. Summary - great location, but overall hotel needs some work on it - tired and dated.

I would recommended the area we stayed in. Was a fantastic location - right on the beach.

Dining

Sarong, Seminyak - a beautiful restaurant set overlooking a beautifully lit rice paddy at night. Food delicious - and won hands down over many other expensive gourmet restaurants we tried.

Other

Bodyworks Sap in Seminyak. Fantastic facilities and treatments available at really good prices. We availed ourselves of a treatment nearly every day of our holiday!

“Loved it”

I chose the cheapest standard of room, so I wasn't expecting much. But wow, the room was very large and comfortable. Wonderful hospitality. The staff was charming, never stopped smiling and couldn't do enough to help. Their airport transfer was inexpensive and reliable. The gardens and swimming pools were peaceful and beautiful. And the beach-front was secure and perfect. The sand on the beach was not white, so it got very hot (too hot to walk on sometimes), but the sand outside the resort was spotlessly clean and the seawater warm and clear. My favourite place was in one of the hammocks or loungers by the beach with a cocktail watching the sunset over the waves. The resort's restaurants and bars were nice enough, but fantastic restaurants and bars (e.g. Kudeta, La Lucciola, Potato Head) were just a ten-minute stroll down the beach. I'm planning my next trip already and will stay here again. Absolutely loved it.

“Cant wait to go back, Seminyak Best Hotel,”

Spectacular hotel and Seminyak area is the best of Bali for restaurantes, massagge, shopping.....

all Seminyak area is fantastic for restaurants, mmasagges, bar, shopping, but the best place for shopping is Kuta, and the hotel have free transfers every 1 hour to Kuta and come back!!!!

“Not impressed”

This hotel is passed its best is the worst Sofitel I have visited.The staff are pleasant but ammentities such as the swimming pools are not well cared for.Food is average but most services are expensive. The Hotel is not particularly well placed being just out of Seminyak and just out of Legion but blue cabs are very cheap, clean and plentiful.We stayed for a week but were underwhelmed.
