“Sanur Gem”
The Puri Santrian is a fantastic resort if you are looking for a getaway in a large beach resort with great pool and grounds. Our two rooms were upgraded upon check in, for which I am thankful as it looks as though the standard rooms (garden view) may be a bit pokey. The Suite room was spacious with king size bed, sitting room, large bathroom and kitchenette. The grounds are well maintained, the pool is large and very clean, and the restaurant and general service of a good standard. The hotel appears to be quite a few years old, however this did not affect our stay. Our parents had a standard (beach view) room which was good, however not as spacious as the suite, and slightly run down. Overall a pleasant stay, definitely take advantage of the Yoga on Fridays, Bali Night on Thursdays (a treat!), massages by the pool which are quite cheap (IDR 100,000) and the afternoon tea!
“Great place to enjoy the Sun”
Wonderful Hotel, we stayed in the club area which has its own pool as sun decks. The beach is superb, and the facilities great. My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful spa on our last full day. Would return without hesitation.
“A wonderful introduction to the Bali holiday lifestyle!”
As a result of the recommendation of friends that were returning for the second time, I had a most relaxing, interesting and revitalising 6 day break. The Santrian Club offered a peaceful environment from which we could venture out to experience all the activities, sightseeing, eating and shopping that Bali has to offer.
“Paradise Hotel”
We were very impressed with the Puri Santrian. The hotel grounds were stunningly beautiful with lush vegetation, three nice swimming pools, beachfront access, and a wonderful spa. The staff was extremely friendly. The rooms was a bit basic but the rest of the hotel amenities made up for it. We would definitely go back.

I've planned on coming back in June 2011. This Bali hotel left me with a very good feeling that everyone is taking care of me. The hotel is so beautiful and has a very relaxing environment. It's a great place to getaway.
“Great hotel”
The hotel rooms were good although the mattress could have been a bit softer. Requests were dealt with promptly & the hotel staff were extremely attentive & friendly. We were made to feel very welcome. Breakfast each day was more than adequate with a wide selection of fruits, breads both sweet & savoury & hot cooked food. As the hotel was by the beach, there were various water amenities available, Jetskis, paragliding, canoeing & boat trips. Having three good sized pools within the hotel complex was excellent also & ' the club' pool allowed only adult swimming. All in all it was a very pleasant stay & would definitely stay there again.
“Would go back again”
The hotel is in a great location and on the best stretch of beach in Sanur. They have great beach furniture like comfy day beds and 2 pontoons on the water. The staff are very helpful and lovely. Good value for the price.
“can't wait to go back”
we stayed at the santrian club, the service, the staff and the general attention to detail was excelent, our room was next to the pool and adjacent to the santrian club house where you can find board games and books. afternoon tea is complementary every day, as well as a free jet lag massage, you have free use of kayaks on the beach and free yoga clasees, you can also hire bikes for $ 3.00 a day. the club has it's own private pool which is set in a delightfull setting there are 2 other pools too which are lovely the hotel is very well mantained they change your bedroom towels 3 times a day and you have complementary fresh fruit in your room every day. the hotel seats right on the beach and there is white sand and a protected bay, december 2010
“Back at any time!!!”
The hotel Club area was very relaxed and quiet, the entire grounds was along the same lines.The pool in the Club area was excellent (no kids doing bommies) very quiet and relaxing area,service in this area was great Club sandwiches by the pool. Mezannie restarant was very nice and reasonable prices (for hotel ) Staff always friendly and helpfull.We left early one morning and a very nice breakfast box was prepared for us ready at 6am.
“Excellent Hotel on Beach at Sanur”
We had an excellent stay in the club area at this hotel. The club area had a lovely pool just for adults but there were several otherer large pools for children The Hotel offers very good food for those that want to stay in and eat by the beach or there are many lovely seafood resturants close bye. Afternoon tea is served by the sea (free) daily. Sanur is a great place to stay although there is no surf but very nice beaches and much quiter that Seminyak & Kuta . It is also a good place to take day trips from. A must is Ubud where we stayed 3 weeks We enjoyed our stay so much at Puri Santian that we plan to go back and spend our last 3 nights there as we felt this was the best valued hotel we had stayed at during our 6 weeks stay in Bali
