“We loved it”

A calm oasis in the backstreets of Legian. Just far enough from the beach and busier streets. The staff were wonderful - always helpful. Provided service immediately whenever we asked for something: helping with tours, phone calls, drivers, room maintenance, etc. Great pool, really good food, especially breakfast and the staff were able to cater for special requests. Highly recommended.

Family-friendly activities
Bali-Go-Bike's day tour was a highlight of our trip, even though they're one of the cheaper downhill bike tours. Lots of interesting side tours, great information and lunch in the manager's family compound.

“Great location close to Seminyak in Legian”

Clean hotel & fairly new. Very well maintained but not "Bali Style". Great location but not on the beach(short walk). Would have been nice to be able to book "breakfast included" with Expedia. Great breakfast on offer, otherwise lots of places nearby. Pool was very cold, as it does not get too much sun this time of the year? Great if you need to sool off quickly! Free internet in the front lobby (3 computers) Also free WiFi in lobby for your own laptop. Well worth looking at. Wont dissapoint.

Area recommendations
Great area between Legian Beach & Seminyak. On the border-ish

“great staff, great hotel”

The hotel staff can't do enough for you, they are very friendly and always willing to help you. Loved the outside shower on the bottom floors of the hotel. Great location. Free wifi in the lobby which was handy. Would stay there over and over again

Area recommendations
Legain is a great area. Lots of shopping and resturants but less hassle then Kuta
When to go
May/June is a great time, a little quieter and the weather was beautiful. Hardly any rain (we didn't have any the week we were there) and it wasn't hot. Was on average 28 degrees

“Bali hotel”

Very nice hotel and room. Hotel staff was OK. Travel desk staff OK. Reasonably good location. Many restaurants close by. About 10 minute walk to beach.

Area recommendations
Beware of money changers in area.

“They will give you their worst room first, so complain immediately”

They will give you their worst room first, so complain immediately, all rooms cost the same so there is no reason for you to accept the room facing the road, with the noisy generator next door, it was so loud that our bed was shaking. The rooms facing the pool is very nice, but we didn't get one of those rooms until we complained to the manager, who of course was unaware that the room we got was the worst room the have, and acted like they never had complaints about that room before. So based on this hotels management culture stay away!

What to pack
Sleeping pills and earplugs, and of course a bad mood when you need to face the manager

“Good Hotel, would stay there again.”

Excellent hotel, very clean. Only complaint was breakfast could have had more variety. The only complaint about staff was that one of the waiters by the pool asked to keep the change when I ordered lunch by the pool. I was happy to give a tip but the amount was a bit extreme and I was made to feel uncomfortable about refusing. Not all staff were like this. Just had a problem with the one male waiter. Otherwise great place to stay. Would got there again.

“Great, middle of the road hotel - convenient location”

Great middle sized hotel. Staff friendly, appear to "know" you after a day or two. Very clean. Great location Only complaints are about the other guests really - who leave the pool area for ages, but leave their towel there to "reserve" their chaises - the hotel staff could be more vigilant in enforcing the "one hour" rule. Another nice touch would be more evidence of "balinese-ness" eg sculptures, balinese flags. I would recommend this to someone who wants to be close to the action, yet still in a quiet pocket. Has an international, rather than balinese flavour

Getting around
Walk, walk, walk...even tho it's hot, it's a great way to chat to the locals. Especially, walk thru the "gangs" - the little laneways that connect the bigger roads - be respectful that these little alley ways are the neighbourhoods and homes of the locals. Taxis are so cheap by western standards - so if you dont want to walk, take one. Tip tip tip!

“Extremely good hotel”

This hotel is extremely well presented. The rooms are modern and clean with all the expected amenities. We stayed in a ground floor deluxe room with direct access to the pool. The deluxe rooms have an outside shower which we used exclusively although there was a modern bathroom available. It is very convenient and a unique experience. The only criticism and it is only a small one is that the pool area is a little restricted for space. The pool itself is a good size with a waterfall on one side and a wet edge on the other. There are just enough pool beds available around the pool to cater for guests so at times there may not be any available. The location of the hotel is very good you are only a short distance from many good restaurants, the beach and shopping areas and only a short taxi ride from Kuta and Seminyak centre. THe staff could not be more helpful nothing was too much trouble. The on site restaurant is very good and of reasonable price. Parking is available on site for motor bikes and a small number of cars. Transport is readily available from the hotel or in the street out front. All in all a wonderful stay and highly recommended.

Area recommendations
Legian and Seminyak. Convenient to just about everything but reasonably quiet.

“You get what you pay for”

Please, please, please take note that if you are after a relaxing holiday lying by the pool, this hotel has very limited number of lounges and gets little to no direct sun on the pool area. It may be different during other times of the year but this is the case July - Oct

“disaster”

this hotel was a disaster. the rooms smelt terrible and our room had no windows to the outside. our only window opened internally onto the lobby and kitchen so when it was opened there was no air movement and we were blasted with bad lobby music and kitchen noise. also there was no alcohol in the cocktails at the bar, they forgot our room service order, there were insufficient deck chairs around the pool for guests and the staff had very poor english.
