“One of the best hotels I ever stayed in”
Gtreat hotel just outside florence with a shuttle bus to take you into town and pick you up.
“A little paradise”
If you want to feel pampered and escape the hustle of the city, this hotel is for you. You are in your own little world with great food and service.
“Elegant Villa”
Villa La Massa is a beautiful retreat from the activity of Florence. The dining is outstanding and service perfect. Be aware it is a 5 star resort and priced accordingly as well as being 4 miles outside of town!
“italian villa”
you can't be satisfied with this cozy hotel. Can feel the history of Italian villas. The swimming pool is more than 2M deep. so great! The river is just next to the hotel restaurant. I will definitely go this villa again.
“Wonderful!”
Gorgeous location just outside Florence with convenient shuttle or parking for a rental. Fine dining restaurant on premises and bountiful breakfast buffet/ordering. Wonderful food but the only on site restaurant. Lovely rooms and grounds. We went during the off-season and were pampered by the staff. Great experience.
“Lovely Hotel nestled on the Arno River”
This hotel is a leading small hotel of the world. The service was great, the food was good and staff was very helpful. The location was a bit tricky to pinpoint (even with our navigation system) however, its only about a 15 min drive from the center of Florence with no traffic. Meals and Mini-bar are pricey, but everything is top notch. We stayed in the Junior Suite with our 18mo baby and had plenty of room. The hotel and staff were very baby friendly. There is a playground, swingset and childrens clubhouse on the grounds in addition to the pool, garden and lawns so our baby was always entertained while playing outside. Concierge was helpful in reserving tickets to all the major musuems and suggesting good local places to eat. Our only complaint was that one of their buildings is a walkup (this is where we stayed) it has no elevators - although there is only one floor to climb this may be a minor annoyance for some.
“Great homebase for Florence”
Really nice hotel. Great staff. Beautiful Tuscan countryside.
“Great hotel just outside of Florence”
This hotel was a spectacular jem to stay at. A beautiful mini-resort off the beaten path. Some of the surrounding areas looked less than optimistic, but after driving the short Via off the main road toward the hotel, we were tranformed into a wonderful environment that left behid the craze and hustle of Florence. The shuttle into town every 30 min helped to reduce the feeling that you were far away from the city. A bit less convenient if you are looking to stop for a rest after a short stint of shopping. However, the Staff was incredible - very helpful, respectful, always available when needed, and excellent at suggesting places to see or at reserving activities for those who don't know the area well. The Hotel's resturant is very nice, has wonderful food, and excellent attention to detail - albiet a bit pricey.
“Tuscany at its best”
The hotel is not in the city centre, but it is relaxing, great rooms, and the restaurant food is superb. There is a shuttle into town, but I did not use. I had rented a car and with GPS was able to navigate Florence and Tuscany with ease. Definitely recommend, but need to realize when booking it is not in city centre, which I liked. The staff was attentive to all our needs. The restaurant staff learned my favorite drinks, seating locations and preferences. The breakfast buffet is superb.
“Good Hotel for relax.”
Good and beautiful Hotel near Florence. Excellent staff.
