“I would stay here again!”
I think this hotel was recently renovated. My room: felt new, was nicely decorated, and was very clean. I was pleased to see that the rooms looked like the pictures posted on the site. The bed was also very comfortable. I was in the cylindrical shaped tower; my room had a very narrow entrance and was shaped somewhat like a triangle. Because I was traveling by myself, the odd shaped room didn't really bother me. I would stay here again!

“Convenient location, comfortable room”
I was very pleased with my stay at the Holiday Inn Town Lake. The location was very convenient to get to 6th street by cab. There was also plenty of free garage parking for guests. The rooms were spatious with comfortable beds and pillows. The in-room refrigerator and microwave were also nice perks for those of us with leftovers. I also enjoyed the free internet access. My only complaint was that the bathroom light switch turned on both the vanity area light and the shower/toilet light, which was an annoyance to my friend in the middle of the night.

We found the hotel to be perfect for our occasion which was a girls' weekend.
“Beautiful view”
How can you not love the beautiful view of Lady Bird Lake from your window? It's so peaceful and relaxing. I didn't think the comforter would be warm enough for me, but it was deceptively cozy. I slept very comfortably that night.
“good location”
This hotel is in a good location to downtown Austin and the Austin Convention Center. A shuttle bus was available to take us to and from the ACC, so we did not have to worry about driving and finding a parking space. We were able to securely store our luggage with the front desk personnel when we checked out of our room so that we could attend the last day of our convention and not worry about keeping our luggage in our car. The hotel staff is very friendly and accomodating.

“Nice, affordable accomodations and a great location”
This is an affordable place to stay with updated rooms and a nice location right on the hiking/biking trail. It is located less than a $10 taxi ride to downtown and offers free parking. The place also has it's own restaurant. While it isn't a super fancy place, it is clean, nice and affordable.
“Austin Holiday Inn Towne Lake: Top Rate”
Great room with the Expedia rate. Service and room were great! Look forward to coming back. Only disadvantage was the distance to the convention center, but they had an excellent shuttle that made up for it.
“An Excellent Stay”
The person at the registration desk, Stella, was very accommodating! The staff was pleasant and helpful. I will stay there again and tell others of my experience.
