“Nice Place”
This hotel was really nice and clean. The restaurant served very good food. It's right in the middle of downtown Austin. I would stay here again. Very good experience.
“Bachelor/Bachelorette Party Stay”
We stayed at the Doubletree in downtown Austin for our bachelor/bachelorette weekend. It was very comfortable, lots of room and had a great bathroom and kitchen! The room was bigger than my first appartment! I would definitely stay there again.
“Perfect location for SXSW”
Having talked about going to Austin Texas for SXSW music conference for years I finally decided to go. After doing a lot of research online, we settled on the Double Tree due to it's location to Congress park and a short walk to all the action downtown on 6th St. The Double Tree is an impressive building from the outside, inside your met by very polite staff, who cannot do enough for you. The hotel itself spotlessly clean. When we arrived every room had been booked due to the conference. Our suite was immaculate, and the maids kept it that way for 7 days. Very late nights at venues around Austin, stumbling into the hotel at all hours, musicians coming and going by the van load, the hotel and staff always maintained a professional appearance. Exceptional.

We were in town to attend a UT football game and stayed here. Everything was great. Great location! We had A SUITE and it was really nice. Full kitchen also.The warm chocolate chip cookies were to die for!

Perfect base location for a trip to Austin. Spacious suites that feel close to home compared to normal hotels. Great location if you are going to campus (University of Texas) and going downtown to sixth street or other downtown locations.

I found this to be a wonderful suite hotel, the rooms were spacious and quiet and the view very good of downtown and the capital. It helped to have a full kitchen. It was a treat to have a balcony with a sliding door to let in fresh air.

Love this place! All the staff were super nice, our room was newly renovated and also really nice. Complimentary shuttle was fantastic. Location convenient to bus to/from the airport, 6th St and UT.
“Two room suites can't be beat”
I will always stay here when in Austin. The two room suites and kitchette are a huge plus. My husband gets up before me and can shut the door to the bedroom and get coffee without disturbing me. The doorman, manager and hotel staff are Texas friendly and they have a free shuttle that will take you around town and pick you back up...no charge. Just a skip from the Capital and an easy walk to 6th and the university. Would have loved to use the outdoor pool which was set up nicely, but did not have a chance.

Enjoyed Austin very much and the hotel is ideally located near music, restaurants, museums, etc. The desk staff were very helpful and the work-out machines were in great shape
