“Quiet and well kept”

I didn't drive when staying at this hotel, I had freinds and family staying with me who had cars, so I cannot comment really on it's accessablity to downtown. I liked that the hotel had an old-world charm and feel but was very clean. The outside area was nice and never crowded. I would stay here again.

“Great location”

We were there for a girls' weekend. We were within about 15 to 20 minutes of just about any kind of restraunt we wanted but avoided the priciness of being downtown. The staff was very nice. The only complaint I had were the people who came in at 3AM slamming doors and acting like there were not people sleeping, but that was not anything the hotel could control.

“Great hotel”

The Hotel is close enough to downtown if you have a car. A little far to take a cab on a regular basis though. Rooms were big and clean and the hotel has a nice courtyard. Great bar too.

“Great Rooms, Excellent Service”

Our stays at the Doubletree Austin have been a true joy and pleasure. The top notch staff always make us feel welcome. Our room was clean, smelled fresh, and seemed like it was renovated recently. Room service also stood out in particular. Delivery was prompt, and the food was creative and delicious. We look forward to returning to this hotel. ---
