“Nice Place”
We took a chance on this place and we're glad we did. That has to be the best hotel bed I've ever slept in! The hotel is comfortable with decent sized rooms and great bathrooms. The staff was helpful and friendly. I really loved everything about this hotel except the non-walkable location. It right on I35 though so driving anywhere was a breeze.
“Very Impressed”
My fiancee' and I stayed at this hotel on a weekend get-away and I must say that I was very impressed with this place! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our stay included a free hot breakfast each morning which was delicious--omelets, waffles, cereal, fresh fruit, juices, etc. The room decor is very modern and cozy. The bed was oh so comfortable! We both slept very well. We had a room with a sunset view which created the perfect ambience for a romantic evening. The balcony was overlooking the hot tub and pool area. Very nice! I think we have found our place to stay on our next trip to Austin!
“Excellent Choice”
Hotel is well designed and the rooms are very beautiful. Bathroom is a dream and space is enormous with a large shower and big tub. Be sure to ask for tub when making reservation and checking in to hotel. I was at a conference downtown and this location was a short jog to the convention center.
“Can't wait to go back”
My husband and I went there on our anniversary (March 2010) and we LOVED it! We stayed in a balcony suite and it was big and so beautiful. It was very romantic with the see thru wall into the bathroom shower. The rainfall shower was awesome, as was the very large bathtub. The room had two flat screen tv's and the couch and bed were very comfortable. I loved the bedding. The room had a mini fridge, coffee maker, iron, ironing board, slippers, robes, and was so beautifuly decorated. It had a super elegant feel to it. We also went back last week and stayed in a regular room (126) and it great also. Again, very comfortable bedding, very clean, and beautifuly decorated. They had free wireless internet access and a great breakfast with sausage, bacon, eggs, bagels, toast, juices, milk, gravy, biscuits...the works. I would recommend this hotel to anyone for any occasion. We plan to stay there once every three months or so because we just can't say enough great things about it. I think for the price, this hotel just can't be beat.
“Sexiest hotel in Austin, and cheap!”
The W downtown Austin routinely 2x or 3x the cost of the Casulo. And you get a much sexier room at the Casulo. The only thing that's lacking is the quality of food in the free breakfast... but it's free, so you really can't complain. You don't have the concierge, the services wrapped around the big corporate hotels, but you have huge, yet intimate rooms, a great location... This is our favorite hotel in Austin. 10th night is free! Also, I wouldn't really book this alone - go with your loved one.
“Can't wait to return, already looking at dates.”
"Hotel Casulo" for us was easy to find, since this was our 1st time visiting Austin. It has easy access on and off Hwy 35. For people like ourselves, who do not want to stay in the city, it was ideally situated, short drive in/out. The hotel was very relaxing. Our room was clean, simple and romantic, "very Zen". Breakfast was great, plenty of it great start in the morning, with no rush to get you in or out of the dining area. The pool and surrounding area was neat, tidy and clean, well worth a dip, we did. No problem with parking. The staff were all well mannered, well dressed and very helpful. Liked the "No Smoking" hotel, although you can smoke outside the hotel. Excellent rates for a beautiful hotel.
“Casulo Hotel in Austin”
Great hotel for a decent price. Me and my friends questioned the hotel as we're pulling up to the parking lot. The exterior wasn't as pretty as we think it would be. But after we enter the lobby, everything looked just like the pictures shown on the internet. The room is really clean and the best part is they crank the AC down to 65 degrees for you! The location is also fairly close to 6th street/downtown about 10 minutes away. Our cab ride was about $10-15. Would totally recommend it for people that are visiting Austin for a getaway!

“Always a delightful experience”
My wife and I love this hotel and for the price it does not get any better than the Casulo! Beautifully decorated, super comfortable bedding, very romantic rooms, great staff, and awesome complimentary breakfast!

This was a unique experience. Fantastic bathroom. Loved it! Very relaxing & not your ordinary hotel room.
