“AT&T Hotel”
Hotel was a perfect location for the Erwin Center concert and staff was very helpful for transportation and parking. Very pleasant staff.
“Surprise in Austin, TX”
We were unsure of what we would find since we had initially rejected this hotel as not very appealing. What a surprise! Fantastic location at the edge of UT campus and still right downtown. Extremely attractive, modern LEED building with soaring ceilings, beautiful wood everywhere, a gorgeous bar and restaurant. Very gracious and attentive staff. Our room, which was large and comfortable, had a huge shared balcony which we used to drink coffee and read the paper every morning. Excellent room service--both food and service. The only negative had been stated in other reviews so we were warned: the swimming pool was small and murky-looking, so we did not venture in. Our room, which was wheelchair accessible, had a tiny bit of wheelchair damage on one wall but that was it! We would stay there again in a flash. Most people there seemed to be attending a seminar, not vacationing, but that did not affect our enjoyment in any way.
“Glad I stayed here”
Stayed will my teens (17 and 19) on a college visit. I was still recovering from a foot injury, so while I was mobile my stamina for walking/standing was not endless. This hotel was the perfect choice for us. Close enough to campus that I could walk over and do the dorm tours and lunch/shopping on The Drag with the kids and then retreat to put my feet up while they explored campus. Also, I am severely gluten intolerant and the staff were really good about working with me to make sure I wasn't exposed. We could have stayed somewhere cheaper, but spending a little extra to be able to park directly below the hotel and be close to everything was well worth it.
“Mmmm. Chocolate chip cookies!”
Hotel staff was attentive and friendly. There were chocolate chip cookies delivered to my room each day which was a delicious snack with coffee at the end of a day full of meetings. Room was comfortable, quiet, and easy to work in. Great view of UT Austin camouswhichis directly across the street. Walking distance to shopping and dining. Good dining options at hotel as well.
“Easter weekend”
everything was great from the minute we chhecked in
“Great place to stay”
I would recomend this hotel but it can be way too expensive at times and they often require a two night minimum during football season which is a HUGE TURN OFF (this is when they really jack up the price). This was a fair price for one night at this hotel.
“incredibly convenient”
Very nice hotel. Daughter and I were visiting UT, this hotel could not have been more convenient. Staff very friendly. Great parking
“Great for football weekends!”
Perfect location to spend a football weekend. Staff is wonderful and within walking distance of stadium and extremely short cab ride to Sixth Street!
“UT Graduation weekend”
Hotel was very nice and clean. We did have an issue with the door lock which required the staff to move us to a different room, then to an additional room. Otherwise, the experience was good.
“Great for anything that you need to do on campus.”
We stayed here for UT graduation and it was awesome as always. The location can't be beaten and the staff makes sure things are great while you are there. Our sink was dodgy and they were in the room fixing it within a couple of hours. Considering the hotel was sold out for the weekend, this was great turnaround time. Additionally, they made sure that the shuttle was available for those that needed it.
