“Grateful for the place, but wouldn't repeat.”
While we were please to secure three (3) nights as The Masters began, I would not stay at Red Roof again. The first room assigned to us had a broken headboard; the second, no towels. While the Staff was responsive, the first impressions were disappointing. Each evening, our key cards had to be re-programmed to access our room. And, the continental breakfast served horrible coffee.
“poor service”
Their web site said coffee makers in the rooms, but our room had none. When I called front desk they said if I wanted one, I would have to come to front desk and get it. Next morning when we awoke, one of the side tables was covered with ants. When we checked out, I complained to desk clerk and she said the manager would give me a call. Of couse we never hear from anyone.
“What ever you do don't forget something in the room on checkout”
according to their manager they don't ship items left to the owner, period end of discussion.
“Very disappointing”
One of the rooms that we were provided with smelled extremely of smoke. Our party for that room was moved to another room, which was in the process of renovation. It had a hot tub that spouted water when turned on. They had to turn the water off for the toilet, since it was leaking. The microwave had no knobs on it.
