WE WERE PLEASANTLY SURPRISED. THE STAFF WERE FRIENDLY AND COURTIOUS. THE ROOM AND FACILITIES WERE CLEAN AND ORDERLY.

The Howard Johnson Hotel went through recent renovations. It has a new look, new approach to customer satisfaction, and affordable. My stay was very nice and quite. The room was beautifully decorated and very clean. The attendants were very helpful and mindful of the quest that come and go, ensuring security. i recommend the New Howard Johnson Hotel in Augusta Georgia, for your next visit.

The staff at this hotel was very friendly and helpful. They suggested places to eat, shop and visit during our stay and we did not go wrong with any of the suggestions. We really enjoyed our stay and found it very easy to follow their directions for shopping and everything. The hotel is centrally located to every place we had to go and that made our stay very enjoyable.

“Best in this price range!”

I'm a student who has to go to Augusta for a week at a time, and I've been staying at various hotels. For this price HOJO was way superior to the other hotels I've been to! Everything was so nice. Only complaint is the walls are very thin and you hear everything (I literally could hear my nighbor flick the light switch and sit on thier bed, not to mention other things). If possible, get a room AWAY from the elevator, I heard that thing ding all night long. The location is a little away from my school, but not a bad drive. Perfect for anyone going to Fort Gordon. With all said, I don't think I'll be staying anywhere else when I make my trips, this place was great. (Oh and the fitness room is awesome!)

“Howard Johnson”

This hotel is brand new. It just opened in April 2009. The continental breakfast was the only thing that was a little weak. Everything else was amazing. The rates were amazing as well. Couldn't have asked for anything better that is for sure!!

“Comfortable place for week long stay”

For the price, this is an excellent hotel. Comfortable beds, clean rooms and common areas, quality hotel service, new TVs. Only small issues were the slower wireless internet connection and the breakfast ran out quick in the mornings. The restaurant adjacent to the hotel has great food.

If you are visiting Fort Gordon the location is great. The hotel staff were great! They all were very nice and helpful. Would stay there again.

The Hotel was in a good location for the area we were in and what we wanted to see and be near. Pool was outside and the water was cold but nice.
